One of the things they need to do when they bring og versions of maps back is ramp up the loot quality. They always bring them back with the og loot pools too

season 1-5 is the best, no aim assist debate, no tap-strafe, no sweaty ttv wraith player and no cringe movement shit..
@@zaviiertm1420 Nah there was definitely sweaty ttvs back in season 1 and up(0 not so much). I know cus my friend was one of em when I was playing with him, and a bunch of other ttvs on the kill feed
That's a trajectory of every PvP shooter out there tho, it's why I stopped playing them completely. Used to play Apex, Siege, PUBG, Fortnite... And everything just gets metas and stupid abusable shit, everyone sweats their asses off to get "clips" for their 14 subs RUclips channels... The only PvP shooters I still vibe with and play are the immersive ones that don't have "rANkEd" and that stupid stuff like Battlefield and similar casual large scale shooters... those are so much more fun for me now. I'm just done with comp. shooters...

I get the same feeling when i watch the gears of war 2 intro cinematic. being a child and playing games at that time was insane the attention to detail and care that went into games is incredibly hard to find now a days.

You gotta remember this was closer to shrouds prime years. His aim was magical and i feel like it was years ahead of its time. All these insane aim demons now and days still dont have the unhuman highlights shroud had.

I mean that was like day 1 or week 1. A month in and everyone was insta Q wraiths and Zipline mad pathys and res shield and fast heal lifelines.
Apex has always been greatly influenced by abilities. It is the nature of the game.

The Shroud secret is just that when you are deeply good at one FPS (CS) you can transfer a bunch of skills into another game that use similar things, in this case he was even using the same FOV and sensitivity that he used to compete in CS:GO, note the crisp aim to the head while using Triple Take, its another game playstyle, that is scientifically accurate, and thats why u can train using a harder game or an aim-traning game to be good at another games, the modern thinking about MNK FPS skills is that they are kinda universal, and now with The Finalls being launched u will see a bunch of prodigies that where top tier players in another games.

The fact that you could regenerate shields when the game came out was indeed a new thing.
the more and more i watch old apex content, the more i realize how much it was like titanfall. in titan fall the "r-97" could use a 1x holo, digi threat, and a 3x. however, it could use a round scope like 2x-4x.
I used to run 3x cog on R99 and it was lowkey meta to do so if you could control the recoil with it. Good ole season 1 and 2.

i would do anything to play the original Kings Canyon from day 1 and season 3 and 4 worlds edge. Those are the best maps to ever grace the game IMO

Ive always wanted them to do an LTM with the og map and guns and characters. Just the 8 characters, same balancing as then. Just for an LTM see how broken it would be now.

Shrouds 1 hour of play time is equivalent to what most players learn in 100 hrs of play. Plus his insane aim and the fact he’s been playing games for a living his whole life, makes it hard to compare him to anyone.
Single digit seasons looks so different. Wish we had the option to customize our legend select screen.

This is like looking back at the first dota 2 tourneys. The pros were so much better than the rest of us but looking at the mechanical skill and stuff its largely become expected to play at least as good as someone who was pro like 12 years ago
