I wish lots of success to everyone involved! You are facilitating people's lives. Times are changing and society needs to adapt to evolve. Employers need to have this in mind as well. To an open future!
Hi Fida, it will depend on the USA institution's requirements whether they would accept a UK LLB and possibly which modules, all institutions are different. You'd need to check with them directly.

Hi Ashari, apologies for the late response. The short answer is Yes! In fact some FTSE 100 companies regularly look for OU graduates because they have demonstrated commitment to their studies and amazing life/work balancing skills while studying. There's more information here: law-school.open.ac.uk/study/employability-and-careers OU students also have access to a Careers Service throughout their studies and three years after graduating to help find them a new opportunity.
Nothing to stop you gaining you LLB and qualifying as an English Lawyer and working for a Scottish Firm. There is a distinct lack of cross border capable solicitors in Scotland or at least that's my plan anyway. I am also looking at doing the LLB and then going on to sit the Bar exam in another country where the LLB is recognised.
@@dospalmascb i don't think that's how it works, you need the professional legal practice Diploma first before you can practice as solicitor in Scotland and they don't accept law degrees from the Open university it was stated on their website. You can check it out
@@LauraDickinson-ln9qo The online law degree which is recognized by The Professional Legal practice Diploma is Robert Gordon University they do either online or on campus plus graduate entry level. I know because i did some digging myself

Very disappointed that the law degree with the open university is not useful in Scotland 😢
