I can not imagine how captain Bartlett felt when the final reports reached the bridge that Britannic was beyond the point of no return of being saved from the sinking. Its sad that the Britannic never had the chance to prove her self as a passenger ship after the war.

7:30 something to consider is that the Admiralty did actually have a plan to convert some liners into aircraft carriers.

That fact is, if this were to happen, and Britannic was turned to a copy of Titanic, kids today would say that Titanic never sunk and that the hotel shouldn't have been a thing, and yet, theres more to the Olympic class liners, then meets the eye
