- Walk around the historic town of Tappahannock. Established in 1682 it's one of the oldest towns in the Commonwealth. It's history includes an attack by the Brittish during the War of 1812 and Captain John Smith scurmishing with Indians upon discovering the area in 1608.

Great walkthrough. Thanks for taking the time. Glad you captured this before the fire today. If you have any video of the block where buildings were lost on Prince from the pub towards the river please share. So tragic.
Chris,
One reason that I enjoy your videos so much is because I walked the same towns and battlefields thirty years ago. I designed the Tappahannock Townhall around 2014. That project allowed me the time to walk the streets of Tappahannock and read the history on that quaint and historic village. You filled in some information that I was lacking. Thanks for doing what you do. Brings back fantastic memories.
Good job with the design. Yea it's a nice town to walk though. Thanks for watching and appreciate the comment
The hometown of Chris Brown 🟤

Came here to see where Chris brown is from. Not what I expected lol

Thank you so much! Your vid has put me so much closer to finding my long lost hill/Colman family.
Amazing video, I have a river house here and I go there every summer. Such a beautiful place
Very interesting video filled with information. Thanks for your hard work . Glad you went back for a retake.
Thanks for the comment and thanks for watching!
Absolutely LOVE your videos. So interesting, so calming to stroll through history with your well informed dialogue.
Thank you for the tour.
Thank you! Beautiful video!
Another informative video great one. I'm surprised you know about the Flemish Bond are you a bricklayer? I used to be
Oh ok. I'm not, just have learned a little about it from researching these buildings
Chris, I live across the river in Warsaw! They took that statue down that sits in the middle of the street right after you shot this video. Less than a month later prince st has had the worst fire it has ever seen! Just about all buildings to the east of the Richie house are gone. Just want to let you and your viewers know. They say the fire started at Martin Sale furniture outlet.
OK thanks for the update. So sad
Go East on RT 360, and follow it to the end. It ends in Reedville, VA - which has an amazing Main ST. There’s so many Victorians on that street.
OK thanks for the information, I’ll make a note to check it out. Should have one on Urbana up in the near future
Lived down the road for years never knew how much cool OLD history tappahannock has. Like being older than Williamsburg. Not sure the musiam actual exists iv never seen it open. Hope you do Blandfield just up river Beverly lane.
