How huge of a genius is Michael Carpenter?! The chorus of this song still slays me...
Cliff Richards with an edge!!
Wonderful voice! One of my favorite songs too!
This is brilliant!! Such a good arrangement, that keeps the original vibe of the song but turns it into a valid contemporary rock number. Love it!! ❤️
WOW!
Mahalo for sharing. An amazing performance of one of my all time favorite songs. Kudos! :-)
Friggin' fantastic!
Top cover of a great song!
Badass.
Wonderful cover... really great
The bassline for this tune is a whole song unto itself, and you really did it justice. Nice work!
So cool!!!
HOLY CRAP THAT WAS AWESOME!!!!
Great version! This song has a great hook and this is even better than Cliff's version!
Really good!!
This is an amazing cover. It's nice to see that people in witness protection can get together and make great music. Don't worry, I never saw you. Seriously though, you all killed it!
It's ok Robert. We never saw you either… (thanks for the kind words) :-)
Nice!
Awesome awesome is what you are!
Nice one!
Good job.
10 years late to the party, just stumbled on this and dude, it bloody rocks! Did you get any feedback from Cliff on this version?
Nice version with Queen guitar overtones, sure the main man would like it !
Really Fuctmann Good.
Fresh Version- not bad!
Hey Micheal, I really enjoyed this cover. Great Job. Did you ever do the whole "Monsters Of Lite Rock' Tribute album"?
So is there a sample of tracks for the album mentioned above in the description?
Nice cover... I liked the arrangment most of all. It did not take away from the origianl sound but rebooted it with some modern methods
Always thought this was a Todd Rundgren tune. The key changes and harmonies in the chorus have Rundgren all over them. It was actually written by Alan Tarney. Great cover, I like it far better than the original.
No silly. A Cliff Richard tune written by Allen Turney
Released in 1979 by Cliff Richard
never liked this song until now!.......
