Clark has the best stats out of all of her teammates tonight and yet, they still struggle. Sides really has no idea what she is doing. She keeps Clark in the corner most of the game and repeatedly takes her out when she gets hot only to finally release the leash in the 4th quarter. Her coaching style makes 0 sense and it is why they are 0-5 right now and likely will be 0-7 by the end of this weekend. SIDES NEEDS TO GO, especially if they lose the next 2 games.
Caitlin was 6-16 🤮, had a chance to win and she turned the ball over.
She's good, but not the best player at the moment.

@@brianjones4354 She was still playing solid D down the stretch in the 2nd half and didn’t have any steals but had 2 blocks. She’s a rookie and I’m not one of her cult followers that thinks she’s the greatest ever so any improvement is good and I did see some improvement on the defensive end. Going from 10 and 8 turnovers to 3 is also very good improvement 🤣

And she can't catch a pass, she should be setting screens and that's it, her only option to score should be if she works hard and gets a rebound. The other tall girl on the team is a much better player, good hands, good cuts, good finishes.

Of the four games I have watched, Boston and Wheeler need to sit or be traded. Hard to believe that Boston was rookie of the year last year. Boy could the Fever use someone like Cameron Brink or Kamilla Cardoso.
Sides had two opportunities with the inbound plays and still couldnt manage to draw something to free someone up. She has to go immediately, shes totally clueless

Caitlin will find ways to be a leader on the floor regardless of baskets falling or not. Assists, rebounding etc. The baskets are going to fall anyway and free throws a added feature.

It sounds like she is doing really well. I hope she knows that this uphill will only last a short time until players see and get used to her performance and excellence. It's equivalent to pioneering any worthy cause. It will be tough with some dues to be paid. But it's only as tough as it is because of the caliber player she is and that speaks volumes!!

No one, neither coaches nor teammates, have seen a player like CC. The coaches need to go away first. Anyone who stays out of CC’s way would be a huge improvement.

TBH, Coach seems insecure and/or fearful that clarks shine will mess up the "system" she has in place. The coach is folding under the weight of obtaining "a movement" (Caitlin), knowing the expectation for them to win has now risen 300%. Basically treating Caitlin like any other "rookie" is her way of resisting the colossal focus that clark garners. Seems like coach equates clarks shine and the expectations that come with it, as antithetical to her ability to maintain control of the team. She's lo key threatened by Clark, which is keeping her from fully tapping in to Clarks gifts while still developing her. Ironically, this very insecure, Self aggrandizing approach at Caitlins expense is what's going to get her fired soon. I can see it. Y'all are losing. Let Caitlin cook for real! especially in the fourth.

Clark played well & she will continue to get better. The team, however, I doubt will get much better. It's a bad team, this is a rebuild that will take a year or two. Clark is the only player on the Fever who is in the top 30 in PPG + APG (She is top 15 in both). The Aces have 3 players in the Top 10 in PPG. She's clearly not playing with the same quality of teammates & the rest of the World sees why this team was the #1 pick for 2 straight seasons. So, to both lovers + haters of Clark alike, just remember that she's a rookie & it takes time, every rookie improves. Kelsey Plum averaged 8.5 PPG in her rookie year. Those who write Clark off this quickly clearly just don't like the woman. But no matter what happens, she should be appreciated for bringing in many more fans to Women's Basketball, regardless of how her career turns out.

this team is not doing her ANY favors, iowa was really good at creating shooting opportunities for her. indiana should start taking advantage of their BEST shooter. teams are doing their best to not let her get any shots. they know she's a sniper. cause you can tell she starts scoring once she starts heating up. indiana needs to help her HEAT UP.

Not hard to imagine what she will average when she gets used to being a pro. LeBron James' Cleveland team was also a really bad team in his rookie season.
