Im just glad she found a new peace later in the series with her powers.
She didn't move on, she always had it in her. The problem was as a Hexenbiest, they always desire for more power and youth. Her mother didn't teach her to control her Hexenbiest side seeing control as a sign of weakness. But when Adalind had her Hexenbiest side suppressed, she started to focus on the other important things in her life, like being a mother for example. In conclusion, Adalind is happy to be a Hexenbiest again, what she's so afraid of is the hunger for power that all Hexenbiests crave for.
Nick accepting that side of her after telling him first really helped her to accept her powers, which is really big, considering he's a Grimm and she's a Hexenbiest, especially since they started off hating eachother, and those species are known mortal enemies of one another

I love that Adalind loves her children more than the power from being a Hexenbiest. From the moment Diana was born she changed and it was automatic and finding out she was pregnant with Kelly. One of my favorite moments is when they dug up her mother so they could make the suppressant and she gives her mother a recap of what's been going on in her life but I loved how she vowed to raise her children the right way. Nick was right when he told Monroe that Adalind was a wonderful mother.

I love that she started out as an awful person who didn't care about who she hurt or how she got things done, and grew into a genuine and caring person who only wanted to put the things she did before behind her, and was terrified that she was going to turn back into that.
One of the main reasons of that was he own mother neglected her for power and then she started doing the same for herself.. even after nick took her powers away she went thru the painful process to get thr powers back, whether being pregnant was a condition to get powers back wasnt confirmed but she got the powers back but when diana was born she suddenly changed... If nick would have told her or at least took her in confidence she would have never been fooled by the royals to take away nicks powers because that's what caused him to regain her powers and juliette become hexenbiest and rogue. If nick would have told her it wouldn't have happened so in a way nick also accepts that he was wrong and after kelly she also realizes that she was wrong to hurt him... Things apart she never killed anyone related to nick, she put Juliette in comma sure with her memories of nick being faded but didn't kill her & also slept with nick to take his powers away and didnt kill him even though she could at that point also she didnt hurt his mom... Juliette on the other hand got crazyyyy

I started watching the show a few months back. I didn't know much about it, but from the first moment Nick saw Adalind, I started shipping them. But when I saw Adalind by the end of season 1, I thought it would be impossible. But when she got pregnant with Kelly, I started to get hopeful again and I'm so glad we got Nadalind! They're chemistry is so much better than Juliette and Nick's ever were

I know this is an old comment and I have started rewatching but I agree that Nick and Adeline had better chemistry yes what she did was evil but Nick and her are great together and they over come so much together I'm sad how Juliette turned out but that women annoyed me to no end to me she always said she accepted Nick for who he was but if you watch closely she never really did she would have been happier with a normal life and I hate that she let the hexinbeast turn her against Nick knowing he would accept her eventually he just really blamed himself for everything that happened to her. But I can't forgive her for what she did burning down the trailer was the biggest fucking blow ever. Yes adalind made some huge mistakes but her character grows and evolves into such a great person and mother. I like both couples but to me adalind and Nick made more sense and worked because they are both a part of the wessen world and understand it.
If I remember right Kelly was in the back room at the time. So she was not only protecting herself and Rosalee, but also her son. That would have really kicked the protective instincts into high gear causing the hexenbeast part to break free.
For those who don't know being a hexinbeast (aka a witch) makes the person inherently evil by default. Although they are some of the strongest wesen, unless you wanna be evil, it's not something you wanna have.

Adalind truly changed for the better when she was living with Nick. And I liked her better after her reform, she grew to care about others, and she gained friends/family. Not to mention her and Nick make a great couple.
I also enjoy the follow up where Tony meets Monroe and they have a polite chat about Rosalee with Tony agreeing to keep his distance from her in the future because he makes her uncomfortable.

The actor who played the scumbag Tony was actually REALLY GOOD. His darkness and malevolence in the beginning was legit and his screams of agony when Adalind broke his fingers were well done as well. One thing the show did well was cast talented actors for minor roles as well as the major ones. :)
I just watched the deleted scenes that didn't have special effects and it never occurred to me that they have to act out the roars and hisses with just some dots on their face. I couldn't help but laugh at how silly it looked lol
Ahh, that means the faces were CGI creations not physical appliances. They would need to do that so the movements of the jaws and head can match the computer images.
From the world she grew up in ,where power was everything it meant you had rights and status ,someone who was considered very important In the begining when she lost her powers she said she was "nothing "she was raise in such an environment that it created fear inside of her to lose it but as she spent more time with nick and his family/friends she was exposed to something new ,for the first time she was surrounded by people who didnt give too flying ducks about power they were more concerned of her as a person then a chess piece they didnt care if she had power or not ,and slowly she too began to ease into it ,even willingly going through with the supressing potion which meant losing her powers only this time she wasnt afraid of losing her powers cause it wasnt important anymore However in this scene she is afraid that she will become power hungry again and lose her new family imcluding nick
Renard and her mother treated her as if she was a tool for them to use and discarded her when she was no longer useful to them. She didn't really start meeting people that cared about her until Nick and his group took her in. The royals weren't that hot either. I have to wonder why they returned her to Adaline, but I have my suspicions.

I never understood the mindset of someone who wants, or in this case demands money from someone else and when they are refused they trash the persons place while still acting like they’re going to get the money. I get that he is probably messed up on drugs, and the scare factor, but seriously why would anyone comply with an unreasonable demand especially when the person is actively destroying their property making a mess and whatever product loss cause more financial loss? Idiocy and of course he paid for his aggressive actions with pain.
I didn't like this plot, (Adaling with Nick and all twisted situations related to that) but their relationship became so nice that at the end I like they ended together.

Адалинда испугалась что у неё вернулась способность и сказала Розали не говори Нику пожалуйста я не хочу чтобы он рассердился на меня.
