  • The Mercedes-Benz GLB is a compact luxury SUV that offers both style and practicality. With its spacious interior, advanced technology, and luxurious appointments, the GLB is a great choice for those looking for a versatile vehicle that can handle both city driving and off-road adventures.
    Starting with the exterior styling, the boxy look of this crossover looks like a miniaturized version of the brand's flagship GLS SUV. (It also gives us Bronco Sport vibes…what about you?) Our tester has the optional AMG Line Night package which darkens all the brightwork on the exterior and options these multi-spoke gloss black AMG wheels.
    One of the standout features of the GLB is its spacious interior. With room for up to seven passengers (ours was only a 5-seater), this SUV is perfect for families or groups of friends who need extra space for passengers and cargo. The GLB also offers plenty of high-end amenities, including leather seats, a panoramic sunroof, and a premium sound system. As with other Mercedes-Benz products, the interior ambient lighting is impressive, really making this feel a class above its competitors. Mercedes-Benz has packed a lot into this small package and it is truly impressive the ways designers have captured the essence of their larger SUVs in the GLB.
    Under the hood, the GLB250 features a turbocharged 2.0-liter engine that delivers 221 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque. All torque is on tap from a low 1,800 rpm, leaving this little crossover to feel quicker when it counts: merging onto the highways, passing, or climbing steep grades. The 8-speed dual-clutch automatic does have paddle shifters if you want to choose the gear yourself. Multiple drive modes allow you to tailor the vehicle to your driving style.
    Overall, the Mercedes-Benz GLB is a great choice for those looking for a compact luxury SUV that offers both style and practicality. With its spacious interior, advanced technology, and powerful engine options, the GLB is a versatile vehicle that can handle a wide range of driving needs.

    I got the GLB 250. With about $15k in options. Very practical, for such a small SUV. We have the 3rd row as an option, though it usually stays down. I feel like it is a major step up in luxury from our last Acura RDX (2021). Great seats, impressive tech (though most of it has to be paid for additionally). Impressive materials as well.

    Do you think this car can be fitted with some offroad wheels and big offroad tires? like black rhino wheels? without lifting it?

    • @GTGarageTalk
      @GTGarageTalk  Год назад

      Yes. Just depends on your desired tire height.

      @@GTGarageTalk Oh nice what heigh of tires can I get if I get some 17" wheels? Im not an expert on this sorry if its a bother. thanks for your video!

      Just check a site like Tire Rack with necessary info on the vehicle. It looks (through my quick searching) that the largest suggested is a 22” tall tire or 235/55R18. Naturally that’s on an 18” wheel which is the smallest offered. Sounds like you want to downsize the wheel to get more sidewall.
      Be sure to check manufacturer suggestions so as to not void your warranty.

    Does it have wireless charging? I think it can be an add on but I can’t find a definite answer.

      No wireless charging on this one. Link to window sticker below. According to their own build and price, it is not even an option.

    Mercedes-benz, in the 2022 Consumer Reports on reliability ranked #24 (24th of the 24 manufacturers) due to numerous electrical problems !
    Best get a BMW, as it improved from a #13 ranking to #3 behind Toyota and Lexus in that same survey.

      Unfortunately we don’t get them long enough to really test reliability long term. Looking to add that element into the future of our channel.
