as someone who has glazed rell seas to the absolute maximum for the entire past 1 year and a half I'm telling you that the combat is not even close to being decent because of how buggy the bosses were(teleporting, glitching, couldn't hit them, looked completely bad) + the sfx desynchronization with the hits also they did not talk about anything OR SHOWED anything related to LEVELING or progressing at all WHICH WAS SUPPOSED TO BE ONE OF THE MAIN REASONS WHY THIS GAME IS BETTER THAN BLOX FRUITS THEY DID NOT SHOW ANY NEW FRUITS AT ALL AND THEY ARE SUPPOSED TO HAVE over 30 DEVIL FRUITS on release and they only showed 3 or 4 after 2 years but 0 on this movie A LOT OF THE THINGS IN THE TRAILER LOOKED COMPLETELY UNFINISHED LIKE SOME OF THE MAPS ETC THE DASH SYSTEM (FRONT DASH AND SIDE DASH) IS A NEW ADDITION THEY ADDED IN THE LAST MONTH AND WASN'T EVEN THOUGHT WHEN THEY FIRST THOUGHT OF HOW THE COMBAT SHOULD BE. So now because of the new combat additions you have the devil fruit fighting + weapon fighting + haki fighting (can use all of them at the same time) while also needing to keep track of your opponents other decisions in combat, which are to front dash, side dash, block, parry, evade (all of those things with stamina) + the soru and geppo dashes, the slide dashes PLUS the entire haki cards which some of them changes how the dashes work entirely, now you have too many combat techniques and skills it's just starting to look like type soul which is a very very wrong thing (i'm not going to go into this because it's a long and complex talk) THEY DID NOT TALK ABOUT THE EQUIPMENT SYSTEM which i was the most excited for personally, (those 6 slots of slots like armor, necklaces, cape etc) which should've been the best system they could've ever develop because of(another long talk) They didn't show any fighting styles nor other weapons. THEY SPENT 15 MINUTES OF THE MOVIE TO SHOW ABSOLUTE BORING AND TRASH FISHING THAT SHOULDN'T BE EVEN IN THE TOP 10 BEST THINGS YOU CAN DO IN THIS GAME. So i have no idea how this movie has managed to edge you and your friends in any way, unless you were just screaming over it and laughing and didn't realise AT ALL how bad the movie was, and don't even let me talk on the fact that a lot of the things they showcased did not have any CC at all or max graphics on roblox(like the game wouldn't be able to run on 144fps, which if this is true then i am promising you that this game s potential drops to 70% lower)

I personally think its valid hate the entire movie just felt pretty unpolished and it felt very slow at times for example the fishing that shit took WAY to long just for one fish. The bosses also looked pretty bad the telegraphing looked very odd and hard to see and some of the boss moves had no sound. I'm optimistic for the game though haki looked great though.
I'm gonna be honest, we can't really tell them or make a speculation on what kinda content is in the movie. They make the movies, so they can put whatever they wanna put in them, on top of that, people could be atleast grateful for the fact they make sneakpeeks that are around 1 hour long just for us. I've never seen another Roblox game do that before. Also, people forget that there were some massive changes that happened to RELL Seas. Maybe they wanna keep it as a surprise, maybe they don't wanna showcase the entire game in one go so that when it releases we won't already know everything and we'll have to see what hard work they have done for ourselves. Gpo being a bandit beater with it's PVP falling off (only good thing is battle royal) and blox fruits being a bandit beater with trash pvp and not a single good thing about it

Well I wasn’t disappointed. I was actually impressed, I understand why they didn’t put that much fruits or bosses. Maybe some had bugs or some weren’t done yet, and also I think they didn’t show fruits and bosses because they wanted to show how this game could be more unique then other popular ONE PIECE Roblox games, exemple: Haki, fighting system and the different boost cards they added, but I’ll say this I’m not disappointed because I respected how much time they put into this project and honestly what I’ve seen that movie, it’s way better then bloxfruit.
Honestly it doesn't really look bad, the only things I want is the combat sped up, a more obvious way to tell that bosses go into a harder stage, and the bosses to either have personality or to all be more aggressive/skilled, which are all things i think are reasonably to expect within the time frame they've given

People are worried about the maps, but the truth is that those might be for a "New World" content drop later. Don't be shocked if Second Sea covers a lot of stuff only up to perhaps Fishman Island. That is how we leave the first half of the Grandline normally.
Only thing i dislike about the haki is how wifi haki seems to have a short cooldown, in which case zoan fruits are useless against them. I just find that to be annoying because i wanted to be a zoan but if half my zoan moveset is disabled by a button press that stuns you for a good while then i would be at a big disadvantage

I think alot of people are hating for no reason and its unfounded because of their ridiculous expectations, but i also think people need to be able to point out the difference between blatant nonsense snd genuine criticism. This game being better than 90% of the slop on the platform does not make it immune to critique. We are 100% able to hold the game to the standard the developers at the very least held for themselves. They said that movie 2 was going to show off more finished content, yet the bosses they fought still seemed to be in quite the unfinished state, clunky, animation and tracking issues, seemingly random stun times, etc. They said movie 2 was going to cover everything their previous sneaks didn't talk about but realistically all the genuinely new info we got was the haki system and progression which were both AMAZING by the way. They have a long way to go when it comes to making videos about things that actually showcase what they want to show off and i think the content within the video itself is an 8/10, looks mostly great and i know they can clean up where they were sloppy, however, i understand why people are upset because, the delivery of this video as at most a 5/10. Critique does not mean you don't like something. It is just the acknowledgement that things can be better and that is healthy for the game. This was personally my least favorite sneak so far and i hope they do better in the future!

The only thing im worried about is maps tbh. Im worried the game will lack a lot of canon islands and replace them for their own islands. I really hope that there are islands like water 7 and whole cake island on release. But another thing that worries me is the size of the maps themselves. I know they said islands would be medium sized but dressrosa seems so compact right now. Like another example is how small alabasta seemed from all the sneaks they dropped of it. I honestly think alabasta should be as big as how GPO had it or maybe bigger. Im glad they're acknowleding skypiea's size though.

A lot of people are arguing about if the game will or won't be a bandit beater. The truth is, it will probably be a bandit beater but NOT the type that has become popularized on the roblox platform. Instead of sitting in one place, going back and forth from bandits to quest giver, it will most likely be an exploration type of bandit beater and not putting the npcs in one convenient place. Still progressing through npcs, but exploring and killing them during events like in souls games. People also forget to remember the rell brothers have said they don't wish this game to be a brainless bandit beater such as Blox fruits.
Buddy quite literally forgot about the other ways to progress other than just bandit beating. Brother their are a multitude of ways you can earn exp other than just bandit beating your way through. Otherwise shit like cooking, and fishing being viable won't work at all as their also a good way to earn exp.

as a veteran roblox builder, I'd say that none of the builds in rell seas is even close to finished, and the game is only 4 months till release, they said they focus on the interiors but there are almost none, the lighting and light source placement but is just straight up bad. While the model is highly detailed and good, the map is nowhere near that quality, making the game atmosphere, style just messy and unpleasant, ntm I was hoping for more of underwater exploration and maps in movie 2 since there aren't many sneaks about it, overall it was just kinda disappointing and movie 2 seems rushed
the only place that looks somewhat near finished is the 1st boss tutorial area and rell baratie and it's not even that good, if any of the glazers defend that the game needs optimization for players' devices and to avoid low fps/lag then why the devs even said they'll work more on the interior anyways, the things that bugged me the most about the game styling choice is the window and overly saturated tree leaves, they're just too bright compared to the dim map even in daytime, this is a ick to me since movie 1 but who would've cared anyways if there's just 1 person complaining. THE DASH SYSTEM (FRONT DASH AND SIDE DASH) IS A NEW ADDITION THEY ADDED IN THE LAST MONTH AND WASN'T EVEN THOUGHT WHEN THEY FIRST THOUGHT OF HOW THE COMBAT SHOULD BE.
So now because of the new combat additions you have the devil fruit fighting + weapon fighting + haki fighting (can use all of them at the same time) while also needing to keep track of your opponents other decisions in combat, which are to front dash, side dash, block, parry, evade (all of those things with stamina) + the soru and geppo dashes, the slide dashes PLUS the entire haki cards which some of them changes how the dashes work entirely, now you have too many combat techniques and skills it's just starting to look like type soul which is a very very wrong thing (i'm not going to go into this because it's a long and complex talk)
THEY DID NOT TALK ABOUT THE EQUIPMENT SYSTEM which i was the most excited for personally, (those 6 slots of slots like armor, necklaces, cape etc) which should've been the best system they could've ever develop because of(another long talk)
They didn't show any fighting styles nor other weapons.

I personally think its valid hate the entire movie just felt pretty unpolished and it felt very slow at times for example the fishing that shit took WAY to long just for one fish. The bosses also looked pretty bad the telegraphing looked very odd and hard to see and some of the boss moves had no sound. I'm optimistic for the game though haki looked great though.

I'm gonna be honest, we can't really tell them or make a speculation on what kinda content is in the movie. They make the movies, so they can put whatever they wanna put in them, on top of that, people could be atleast grateful for the fact they make sneakpeeks that are around 1 hour long just for us. I've never seen another Roblox game do that before. Also, people forget that there were some massive changes that happened to RELL Seas. Maybe they wanna keep it as a surprise, maybe they don't wanna showcase the entire game in one go so that when it releases we won't already know everything and we'll have to see what hard work they have done for ourselves. I don't know why people are hating so much, it still be looking like an epic peak Roblox game at the end of the day, that we especially know is good and is easily gonna be one of the best.

Well I wasn’t disappointed. I was actually impressed, I understand why they didn’t put that much fruits or bosses. Maybe some had bugs or some weren’t done yet, and also I think they didn’t show fruits and bosses because they wanted to show how this game could be more unique then other popular ONE PIECE Roblox games, exemple: Haki, fighting system and the different boost cards they added, but I’ll say this I’m not disappointed because I respected how much time they put into this project and honestly what I’ve seen that movie, it’s way better then bloxfruit.
Honestly it doesn't really look bad, the only things I want is the combat sped up, a more obvious way to tell that bosses go into a harder stage, and the bosses to either have personality or to all be more aggressive/skilled, which are all things i think are reasonably to expect within the time frame they've given

Only thing i dislike about the haki is how wifi haki seems to have a short cooldown, in which case zoan fruits are useless against them. I just find that to be annoying because i wanted to be a zoan but if half my zoan moveset is disabled by a button press that stuns you for a good while then i would be at a big disadvantage

This game being better than 90% of the slop on the platform does not make it immune to critique.
We are 100% able to hold the game to the standard the developers at the very least held for themselves.
They said that movie 2 was going to show off more finished content, yet the bosses they fought still seemed to be in quite the unfinished state, clunky, animation and tracking issues, seemingly random stun times, etc.
They said movie 2 was going to cover everything their previous sneaks didn't talk about but realistically all the genuinely new info we got was the haki system and progression which were both AMAZING by the way.
They have a long way to go when it comes to making videos about things that actually showcase what they want to show off and i think the content within the video itself is an 8/10, looks mostly great and i know they can clean up where they were sloppy, however, i understand why people are upset because, the delivery of this video as at most a 5/10. Critique does not mean you don't like something.
It is just the acknowledgement that things can be better and that is healthy for the game.

The only thing im worried about is maps tbh. Im worried the game will lack a lot of canon islands and replace them for their own islands. I really hope that there are islands like water 7 and whole cake island on release. But another thing that worries me is the size of the maps themselves. I know they said islands would be medium sized but dressrosa seems so compact right now. Like another example is how small alabasta seemed from all the sneaks they dropped of it. I honestly think alabasta should be as big as how GPO had it or maybe bigger. Im glad they're acknowleding skypiea's size though.

On a real note. First one piece game that I actually want to play (both on and off platform). All the one piece games I've seen on and off roblox never really appealed to me. A lot of people are arguing about if the game will or won't be a bandit beater. The truth is, it will probably be a bandit beater but NOT the type that has become popularized on the roblox platform. Instead of sitting in one place, going back and forth from bandits to quest giver, it will most likely be an exploration type of bandit beater and not putting the npcs in one convenient place. Still progressing through npcs, but exploring and killing them during events like in souls games. People also forget to remember the rell brothers have said they don't wish this game to be a brainless bandit beater such as Blox fruits.
Buddy quite literally forgot about the other ways to progress other than just bandit beating. Brother their are a multitude of ways you can earn exp other than just bandit beating your way through. Otherwise shit like cooking, and fishing being viable won't work at all as their also a good way to earn exp.
I genuinely think for what we have right now real pieces, a good ass game and that’s not even glazing sure some of the stuff needs to be polished a little bit but in terms of combat and visuals and models for all the bosses this is one of the best if not the best Roblox game we have seen in a while I wouldn’t even consider this game hot garbage or trash. as a veteran roblox builder, I'd say that none of the builds in rell seas is even close to finished, and the game is only 4 months till release, they said they focus on the interiors but there are almost none, the lighting and light source placement but is just straight up bad. While the model is highly detailed and good, the map is nowhere near that quality, making the game atmosphere, style just messy and unpleasant, ntm I was hoping for more of underwater exploration and maps in movie 2 since there aren't many sneaks about it, overall it was just kinda disappointing and movie 2 seems rushed
the only place that looks somewhat near finished is the 1st boss tutorial area and rell baratie and it's not even that good, if any of the glazers defend that the game needs optimization for players' devices and to avoid low fps/lag then why the devs even said they'll work more on the interior anyways, the things that bugged me the most about the game styling choice is the window and overly saturated tree leaves, they're just too bright compared to the dim map even in daytime, this is a ick to me since movie 1 but who would've cared anyways if there's just 1 person complaining.
