Even if it wasn't Muse, I'd like Madness. I think it's a really awesome, but simplistic song. I like all Muse songs. There isn't one I dislike. I have favourites - but I like them all.
I think they're really not underrated. I see reviews about the 2nd law in every newspaper in our country, almost everyone has ever heard of them or likes their songs. They've millions of fans, and they are the best band live out there. I don't think they're underrated.
Yeah there's a few times when it sounds like AOBTD, but other than that it's Michael Jackson/The Scissor Sisters all the way. Btw, while The Resistance was a Queen Tribute, I loved it.
don't get me wrong though the song's decent enough, i just want to hear a song that doesn't make you automatically go "ooh that sounds like this queen song"
How is this so Queen? It's much more Stevie Wonder type funk than anything else. People need to stop saying everything Muse does is Queen-ish now, because it's not.
You think maybe Queen was influenced a bit by Stevie Wonder? Everyone is influenced by someone. Did you know that Muse got some of the musicians who played on Stevie Wonder's Superstition to play during the recording of this track? Doesn't that tell you who the main influence is on this song? It's Stevie Wonder, not Queen.
Thank you to the few who finally call out everyone who continuously compare them. I, too, am sick of it. This song is funk...muse style...love it!!!
Groovy. This song should be played on the radio every single day for the next 50 years
Can't-stop-listening-to-this-song! Well done Muse!
they deserve so much more and i feel so sick when i think of how underrated they are
It doesn't matter what style MUSE pick up on, as they just do it so bloody well.
Looking forward to their next Country & Western album :)
Muse makes all other music seem blase. They're the most creative and talented band ever to stand on a stage, and Matt's voice is magic.
best song yet
something beautiful! I'm pretty sure it will be my favourite song on new album!
this is so queen... But i LOVE it, i can't stop replyingg!
This is my new favourite song :3
I can't stop to hear this
I'll love "The 2nd Law"
Hell yes. That bass riff is pure "Shake Hands with Beef", with perhaps a touch of Faith No More.
AWESOME!!! thanks for posting!
I love that the second that you people hear a slapped bass, you cite Primus as an inspiration.
This is the first album song Matt has ever sworn in.
i like madness, whatever u say. just because you don't like it, it doesn't mean it's a mistake.
Even if it wasn't Muse, I'd like Madness. I think it's a really awesome, but simplistic song.
I like all Muse songs. There isn't one I dislike. I have favourites - but I like them all.
I LOVE IT!!!

i totally agree I hear Primus in this as well!

Amazing!** Reminds me Franz Ferdinand

another one bites the dust
Dum, dum dum! Another one bites the dust! ♫
Damn, so groovy!
Let them ride to Panic Station!

I dont know why either but that comment made me laugh :)
*0* LA AME!
Can't people stop compare every muse's songs to another group? You're listening to MUSE.. End of story
at the beginning it sounded like a justice song:P
oh my god! and i was there *__*
i dont know why but it reminds me thriller of M Jackson :)
"I have faith in them"
Primus + Muse= Primuse
HOLY SHIT, THAT'S JUST FUCKIN AWESOME!
The solo/bridge is definitely the hightlight. Catchy, single material?
He did in Absolution, if you count the chorus in Thoughts of a Dying atheist.
why I so fucking love you????! O.O
hahahahahahahaa oh god didn't notice that, can't unsee it
Riff like House of the rising Sun !! :-D
Awesome, have you got Animals? I'd love to hear the whole thing
the new funky xD
LIKE!!! LIKE!!! LIKE!!!
I'm listening to a poor man's another one bites the dust, i'd be surprised if you can't hear that in the song
so true... :D
Good game , i think the game of this album is to recognize who they spoiled on every track ...
Still don't know how I feel about album, but their live shows are better, then on Resistance yet
for about three notes in the beggining, than it ends
don't get me wrong though the song's decent enough, i just want to hear a song that doesn't make you automatically go "ooh that sounds like this queen song"
I'd say so.
How is this so Queen? It's much more Stevie Wonder type funk than anything else. People need to stop saying everything Muse does is Queen-ish now, because it's not.
go and write that under a madness video, this is panic station, thanks.
Any which way!
harmony is similar!
lol at the finger point "uh!" 0:30
it's Primuse!
1:10 = EPIC BELLAMIAN VOCAL WIN
sounds a but INXS Suicide Blonde too...but I really like it :)
Muse became Scissor Sisters
"ooooooooh 1-2-3-4-5 ;)"

This is baby making music
I'm hearing Primus and Stevie Wonder funkiness much more than any Queen influence. What the hell are you listening to?
Sounds kinda like Funky town - Wild cherry
sounds like
fame by David bowie
Never listened to the hidden starlight track?
