Don't wear yourself out digging it over matey - cover the weediest patches in cardboard & a layer of compost to suppress the weeds. Failing that, use landscaping textile or black plastic.
Shred what you can of the stuff you've cut back & use the resulting clippings to cover your paths & stop weed growth.
Believe me "no dig" is the way to go if you want to minimise weeds & effort.

what a marvellous plot to start with. that large shed with the glass front is an ideal propagating shed. take look at charles dowding also on youtube.

I took a plot in Oct just gone, inherted a strawberry patch but was recently told they only produce fruit for about 3-4 years although I believe they carry on living and produce new runners which need to be removed and planted ideally in a new bed so I guess learn as we go

Looks like alot of potential. I like the brick pathways and with good soil how can you go wrong. Thanks for showing. I will check back in when all is growing and green.

Individual beds look good but so much ground is wasted.I only have a couple of paths, big beds and one no dig bed which gets a compost top up every year.Lovely big plot you have there. Our plots are divided into four so my plot is only a quarter the size of yours.Subscribed and will watch with interest.

What a fab size of plot. I’ve just taken on a new one too, it’s not very big but I’m documenting it here on RUclips also. Good luck with yours.
