Deep Space 9 Millie Pulled a Pistol also references De La Soul's outstanding Millie Pulled a Pistol on Santa. Curly directly references Posdnuous's opening verse on that song, wherein Posdnuous raps: 'This is the stylin' for a title that sounds silly / But nothin' silly about the triflin' times of Millie'. Great songs both.

I just remembered that Call Out Culture did an Aesop Rock episode after your comments on the similarities. I went back to check it out and found the episode actually features Premrock and he talks about the influence. It's cool too because as you say, you can hear the influence but also hear that he has moved past it and developed his own unique voice.

Sadatay is a wild one. Great production and rhyming on this album, I'm still digging into it. Dope review.

Loving what I’ve heard of the album so far, can’t wait to give it a solid uninterrupted listen. Homeboy Sandman also dropped Rich II today, so it’s a pretty crazy day for releases. Thanks as always for your insightful review/not-reviews 😁
