- "The person who should be under criminal investigation is the officer who shot a man unjustifiably," Attorney Benjamin Crump said on Tuesday about a Miami police officer who shot his client.

Ben Crump has came to the defense of Derek Diaz who’s a Hispanic male and a white man by the of Hunter Brittain also. You seem to be the one with the color issue here.

Always defending the violent criminals, never seen defending the innocent victims of violent criminals. They showed the man's criminal record when this story came out and it was a long list with violent crimes including assaulting a pregnant woman, allegedly. Smh
As a police officer, you don’t play judge jury and executioner on the streets if the person is unarmed. And you have back up of 10 officers you don’t shoot them 10 times

Someone’s criminal history is no reason or excuse to use deadly force against an unarmed person. Pursuant to our justice system the police department is liable under Section 1983 for misconduct when one’s due process rights have been violated.

@@marioricardo903 He was acting crazy but he never charged, he fell forward after being tazed. There were enough police officers there to taze an elephant unconscious. Why one officer shot? It seems many other officers saw no need to shoot.

Agencies need to STOP dispatching ordinary patrol officers to mentally ill calls. They're not intelligent enough or trained to deal with such emergencies. They need tp dispatch certified Crisis Intervention officers to avoid mishaps like this.

Police must be held accountable no matter who’s there to do it. Seems like there’s a police officer being arrested twice a week for excessive force or lewd behavior on a minor.
