  • We bought this 2007 Lexus ES350 from a dealer auction in our area but on the way home, the transmission started having issues and went into limp mode. Can I fix this transmission and flip this car?

    My son's 2011 lexus es350 clutch shift solenoid was bad and got check engine light, we bought the clutch solenoid kit on eBay and they were replaced by mobile mechanic for $500 parts and labor total. So far so good 👍

    The vsc and traction control lights are normal when check engine light is on. Anytime you get a check engine light on a Lexus you'll it'll disable vehicle stability control and traction control

      It depends alot on what's wrong...if it's just soft parts they're local and don't require as much labor, verus hard internal parts that have to be ordered and shipped or gotten from Lexus dealer and that's a lot more labor opening case and so forth. Your $4200 may be justified@@johnnycalderon9951

    I just bought a 2009 Es 350 and it appears to have a transmission leak. I took it back to the dealer and they had their mechanic fix it or so it appeared, only to find the same issue of leaking. I’m thinking just buying another very low mileage transmission. By the way, my Lexus ES 350 2009 only have 123,000 miles. The transmission shift smoothly but something is wrong because I can see the leaking, hear a rumbling, growling, vibration noise at 20 to 25 miles per hour. Give me some advice please.

    • @adamsgarage5119
      @adamsgarage5119  Год назад

      @@JoesGoldenGarage Yeah one think I would make sure to do is keep track of all of the bolts you take out of the valve body. They are all different lengths and go in certain spots. Also make sure when you put it back in that the harnes connects properly. Also there is a thing on the side that is connected to the shifter in the car so make sure that lines up with the pin thats up in there or else it wont shift into drive. It wasnt too hard but theres not a lot of videos out there showing how to do it.
