Cool trailer but bad for marketing and this is what happens when a great movie has bad marketing. Production cost for the movie 60 million. Total box office world wide. 47 million. Studio loses 13 million cause of bad marketing. And its sad cause this is literally in my opinion one of the most creative and coolest movies I ever saw that i wish got more credit than its gotten over the years

The fact that we all saw the movie when we were in our early 20s when it came out and the cast were between 21/29 and most getting started in the industry make the movie even more nostalgic.

I honestly became obsessed with this trailer. I watched it so much and was so freaking hyped for the movie. I went out and bought all the graphic novels that were available at the time and became a huge fan.
Believe me, the trailer barely even scratches the surface. I know this was commented a year ago, so chances are you've either seen it by now or no longer care, but it's so good.
This has been my favorite movie for the longest I'm glad I was able to see it when it first came out great memories this had to be the best movie that actually makes me have a good time throughout the whole thing. *MASTERPIECE*
Ramona has this bag with a star on it. It is always the same color as her hair ( Same with her clothes but that is easy to notice ). Did anyone else notice that before they check after reading this?
Scot wears a shirt with zero on it and likes coke zero. the 1st ex has one eye covered with hair. the 2nd points with 2 fingers and has 2 tatoed on his neck. the 3rd is part of a 3 piece band and has a shirt with a 3 on it. the 4th if fought in a bar called four. the twins tern the volume to eleven which is 5 and 6 added together. and all of gideins stat increases are timesed bye 7 and the logo for his company are 3 7ns on there sides.
Ramona's hair also corresponds with Wright's three flavors Cornetto trilogy. In the first act, her hair is hot pink (just as the ice cream was in Shaun of the Dead), in the second it's blue (like the one in Hot Fuzz) and though the World's End hadn't released yet, Ramona's hair is green in the final act, which also happens to be the color of the Cornetto wrapper in the World's End
Didn't know the comic book, video game (not into them) or the story. And I'm way older than everyone in the movie. I barely had enough interest to watch it, can't remember when, where or why I did. I guess because I'm a Toronto boy and there was nothing else on. But what a gem, relentlessly entertaining, funny and original! I'd love to drink and talk movies with Edgar Wright, love his films and we share the same favourite, "Phantom of the Paradise".
This is one of my fav movie of all time.... I mean the action done in this movie was way ahead of time.... Cinematography and visual effects is better than mcu and dcu combine it really felt lyk m reading a comics....
I got the chance to show this movie to my nephew who didn't believe me that it was a good movie. He was basically falling asleep until the moment Mathew Patel showed up, then his entire mood changed and it turned into one of his favorite movies of all time like *snaps* that. It was hilarious to see that shift in his mood.

Great movie, but really wished did away with a trilogy (one movie = 2 volumes of the graphic novels). That way it fleshes out the storyline better than cramming all the six graphics novels into a 2 hour movie.
It didn't take two books to defeat Todd Ingram. Though Todd was introduced near the end of the 2nd book along with Envy and Lynett, Scott didn't confront him until the beginning of the third book after Lynett punches out Knives's hair highlights.
Fantastic film that achieves so much in just two hours while coming up with it's own style from the Graphic Novel series and make it natural. Edgar Wright did a cinematic achievement with this film.and continue to be my favourite film director to this day.

Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World (2010) is one of the most greatest video game movie adaptations of all time due to it's witty and clever dialogue and humor, comedic moments, emotional resonance, performance's by the cast, music, direction, action sequences, visual and special effects, and cinematography. Michael Cera did a phenomenal and spectacular job portraying Scott Pilgrim as he put tons of emotion and depth into his role. It was decent and to this day I still watch it. Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World (2010) is a true blue modern gem in cinema. Edgar Wright directed a classic that will be in our hearts forever. It never gets old. 😍😎💯👍🏻

I honestly became obsessed with this trailer. I watched it so much and was so freaking hyped for the movie. I went out and bought all the graphic novels that were available at the time and became a huge fan.

This has been my favorite movie for the longest I'm glad I was able to see it when it first came out great memories this had to be the best movie that actually makes me have a good time throughout the whole thing. *MASTERPIECE*

Didn't know the comic book, video game (not into them) or the story. And I'm way older than everyone in the movie. I barely had enough interest to watch it, can't remember when, where or why I did. I guess because I'm a Toronto boy and there was nothing else on. But what a gem, relentlessly entertaining, funny and original! I'd love to drink and talk movies with Edgar Wright, love his films and we share the same favourite, "Phantom of the Paradise".

Every Marvel/Zack Snyder movie PALES in comparision to the sheer visual imagination of this brilliant piece of work.
I got the chance to show this movie to my nephew who didn't believe me that it was a good movie. He was basically falling asleep until the moment Mathew Patel showed up, then his entire mood changed and it turned into one of his favorite movies of all time like *snaps* that. It was hilarious to see that shift in his mood.

Great movie, but really wished did away with a trilogy (one movie = 2 volumes of the graphic novels). That way it fleshes out the storyline better than cramming all the six graphics novels into a 2 hour movie.
It didn't take two books to defeat Todd Ingram. Though Todd was introduced near the end of the 2nd book along with Envy and Lynett, Scott didn't confront him until the beginning of the third book after Lynett punches out Knives's hair highlights.
It should have also been animation. (Like Scott Pilgrim vs. Animation). With the actors being the characters' voices.
Of course, since the first movie didn't really do that well, there would have been one movie of a trilogy. Which would have sucked.
I don't really see a novel like this being divided into three films...

Fantastic film that achieves so much in just two hours while coming up with it's own style from the Graphic Novel series and make it natural.
Edgar Wright did a cinematic achievement with this film.and continue to be my favourite film director to this day.

If you think the fights and the trailer tell you everything, there's clearly a lot about the movie and it's messages you didn't understand. there's really only one section that gets a little slow and drags on a bit too long, otherwise this movie had me(and apparently millions of others) gripped the entire time. Clearly the writing was wasted on you.

A perfect encapsulation of late 2000's nerd culture, back when everyone used "epic" to describe nearly everything on the internet. This movie already feels like a time capsule from that era.
This trailer didn't do the slightest justice of how good this movie is.
This movies editing and SFX are unbelievable. Still holds up so well and the style of story telling is great, cult classic that was way before it’s time

Michael Cera did a phenomenal and spectacular job portraying Scott Pilgrim as he put tons of emotion and depth into his role. It was decent and to this day I still watch it. Scott Pilgrim Vs.
