I picked one up back in July. I got a 40# that shoots 44# at my draw. 500s Black Eagle Instinct with 250 grains up front. I love it. Quiet and doesn't stack. I have a Super Kodiak and this is much smoother.
super kodiak are very nice bows real comfortable in hand i had one sold it a while back ..heavy draw almost 70 pounds getting to much for me now days... around 50 pretty nice..nice pic of u and your son ,,nice fish
250 lot of grains up front... best speed best kge per pound people think heavy but around 10 grains total weight per pound normally has best kge and a nice speed but always to each there own poison..haa
Nice shooting. I really like my 1973 Fred Bear Kodiak Hunter 60" #45. I've started shooting every other day. My groups are getting better. I hope to start shooting moving targets soon. I have a new string delivering tomorrow for my 1967 Fred Bear Kodiak Magnum 52" #55 I got off of eBay. That Hoyt Satori must be a really good bow if the Backyard Archer has two! I hope to have one some day once I get all each of the Fred Bear Kodiak's. What do you think of the Fred Bear 59 Kodiak ?
great bows... you will have off days now and then just keep practicing moving targets hep to make me anchor well and follow it a full draw... remember.... strong shot,,,,, strong shot
love my old vintage bows fred bear and my ernie root shakespeare wonder bow most under rated bow ,,necedah x 26 i realy enjoy shooting it 40# at 28inch ,,44 for me.. .. hoyt satori,, kinda high tec trad bows..carbon limbs and medal riser bolts adjustable tiller plungers ect..very nice bows!! great shooters!! i do like the camoe patterns but not crazy about the medal and carbon dont seem traditional to me more advanced bows.. wood arrows fred bear ernie root wood,,traditional to me,,,i dont shoot them because there the best all though very nice i shoot them for the simplicity enjoyment history,,59 kodiak.....nice looking bows but i think its the over rated bow over priced.. fred bear replaced that bow with the super kodiak,,named it super... get you a super kodiak a new one in your least draw weight but still hunt worthy and id bet it quickly becomes your favorite bow..
Thanks, my Fred Bear 59 Kodiak is delivering from Three Rivers Archery this week. My Fred Bear Super Kodiak from Three Rivers Archery is still on back order, both #55. I e-mailed Bear Archery and asked if they could make me a Left-Handed #65 Super Kodiak and they replied, no.@@unknown-archer
