Making Stencils with a Glue Gun

  • Hello all. I saw a video by Sandra Duran Wilson (See Link below) and I could not wait to try it! I decided to film the process and I hope you try some stencils of your own. I really loved making these and can’t wait to make myself some more. I love the texture of them, the sound it makes as I work with them, the look of them…..Just love it! Let me know if you enjoyed trying it. Join me in the next video to see how I use them.

    Materials used:
    • Glue Gun and Glue Sticks
    • Heat Gun
    • Tin cover
    • Vasaline
    • Plastic Cover (I used one you use for school assignments, essays, reports etc)

    TIP: Next time, put a dot of hot glue on the fresh stick before you insert it into the gun. The. You won’t have to hold the new glue stick.

    Try doing them on ceramic tile. Cold tile seemed to work better for me.

      @@ginaravello FYI, they can usualy be picked up for less than a dollar each at big box hardware stores, much less at thrift shops.

    Put pan in freezer for a few minutes and the stencil should come off quite nicely.

      I use it in my abstract art and it works out well enough for me 😊👍🏽

      Some people sounds like they woke up on wrongside of the bed keep their criticisms to themselves leave the praise for nice crafters your idea is awesome fabulous cheaper than buying stencils an be creative did anyone think 9f that an have fun 👍 have a nice day
