■ 콘텐츠 업데이트
1. SERIES X/S 지원
120Hz 출력을 지원합니다.
2. 신규 DLC 출시
- 신규 DLC로 EZ2ON PACK이 출시됩니다.
- EZ2ON PACK 구성품은 추가 3곡과 신규 노트 스킨이 포함됩니다.
3. 무료곡 업데이트
- I'M ALIVE by Laurent Newfield
- Dark Lightning by Astrokid
4. SC 패턴 업데이트
■ 주요 기능 업데이트
1. 오픈 매치 - VERSUS 모드가 추가됩니다.
- 래더 매치와 동일한 룰로 1:1대결을 할 수 있는 새로운 모드입니다.
- 플레이어 2인을 제외한 나머지 참여자는 옵저버 플레이로 관전하실 수 있습니다.
- 플레이어를 제외한 관전자는 게임 내에서 채팅으로 소통할 수 있습니다.
2. 오픈 매치 입장 시스템 개선
- 게임 진행 중인 방에 입장하여 게임이 끝날때까지 방에서 대기할 수 있게 개선됩니다.
3. 콜라보레이션의 탭이 2가지로 분리되어 표시됩니다.
- MUSIC GAME : 음악 게임과의 콜라보레이션 콘텐츠가 위치합니다.
- VARIETY : 타 장르와의 콜라보레이션 콘텐츠가 위치합니다.
4. TEAM MATCH에 플레이어 봇이 참가합니다.
- 모든 플레이어가 READY를 했으나, 인원수가 부족하다면 플레이어 봇의 참가 여부를 선택할 수 있습니다.
- 참가를 허용한 이후 NB 레인져의 대원이 플레이어 봇으로 게임에 참가합니다.
- 참가하는 NB 레인져의 실력은 랜덤으로 결정됩니다.
5. 연주음 자동 재생 기능이 추가됩니다.
- 연주음이 플레이어의 연주 타이밍에 상관없이 원래 타이밍대로 발생합니다.
- 노래가 익숙하지 않은 플레이어들에게 권장하는 기능입니다.
- 재생 기능의 ON/OFF 설정은 PAUSE 화면과 시스템 설정 화면에서 언제든지 변경할 수 있습니다.
6. PAUSE 화면에서 설정할 수 있는 옵션이 추가됩니다.
- BGA(백그라운드 애니메이션)의 ON/OFF 설정
- BGA의 밝기 조정 (ON 설정 시)
- 연주음 자동 재생 기능의 ON/OFF 설정
7. 시스템 설정 화면에서 "BGA 영상 비율 설정" 기능이 추가됩니다.
- 풀 스크린 출력 또는 원본 비율 유지하여 출력되는 것을 선택할 수 있습니다.
8. 이모티콘 출력 기능을 게임 패드에서도 사용할 수 있게 됩니다.

DJMAX RESPECT V will be released on the Xbox Series X/S platform with new DLC on April 27th, 2023.
■ Content Updates
1. SERIES X/S support
Supports 120Hz output.
2. New DLC release
A new DLC, EZ2ON PACK, will be released.
The EZ2ON PACK includes three additional songs and a new note skin.
3. Free song updates
- I'M ALIVE by Laurent Newfield
- Dark Lightning by Astrokid
4. SC pattern update
■ Major Feature Updates
1. Open Match - VERSUS mode added
A new mode where players can have a 1:1 match with the same rules as ladder match.
Other participants, except for player 2, can observe the match as observer play.
Non-player observers can communicate with each other through in-game chat.
2. Open Match Joining System Improvement
Players can enter a room in progress and wait in the room until the game is over.
3. Collaboration tabs are separated into two types.
MUSIC GAME: Collaborative content with music games.
VARIETY: Collaborative content with other genres.
4. Player bots will participate in TEAM MATCH.
If all players are ready but there are not enough players, players can choose whether or not to allow player bots to participate.
After allowing participation, NB Ranger's member will participate in the game as a player bot.
The skill level of the participating NB Ranger is randomly determined.
5. Key Sound ON/OFF Function is added.
Key Sound occurs at the original timing regardless of the player's performance timing.
Recommended for players who are not familiar with the song.
The ON/OFF setting of the Key Sound function can be changed at any time on the PAUSE screen and the system settings screen.
6. Options that can be set on the PAUSE screen are added.
BGA (background animation) ON/OFF setting
Adjusting the brightness of BGA (when ON)
ON/OFF setting of automatic playback of performance sound
7. "BGA video ratio setting" function is added in the system settings screen.
You can choose to output in full screen or maintain the original ratio.
8. The emoji output function can be used on game pads.

PS needs the newer game V. But the problem is, it's a different version of the game. So the licensing is different. That means PS players would then complain about having to buy the same dlc again. This game isn't made by some AAA studio. The fact they even released this game on Xbox was a god send. I bought the same dlc again on Xbox that I bought on PS4 but I didn't complain. PS fans are the worst.
