Recently we got ducks. I didnt think I would care much because I like the chickens and pigs more, but I’ve brown attached.. there’s 3, and I named them all! One is mustard, one is mayonnaise, one is quackers. Mustard has been hunched over and slower then the other 2. She will walk around but with more of a limp. Is she cold? Is she sick? What should I do? She is the mom of the other two, but they are fully grown.

bacteria botulism is treatable with antibiotics and maybe just keep them cleaner every couple days clean the pens. do rinse wash the feeders. like your house pets need clean too.

What if they like kind of limp around but sometimes they just like lay there on the ground is that still Botulism??

Hello!! I just saw this video. My duck was perfectly fine today but at night I saw her not moving. Right now she can’t stand up and has her neck towards the left side and can’t move it. She twitches non stop and blinks her eyes often. I thought it was sort of like a seizure but she’s been this way since 9pm and it’s 2:00am. Can it be this? I’m really concerned but no vets at this hour.
I'm so sorry to hear this, we googled some of the symptoms it could be a seizure we are not sure. And what did the duck eat before all of this happened like did you put any rat poison? etc. We recommend googling most of the symptoms she has had and try doing some research to get a better understanding or what this could be. We have never had a duck do this and it's sounds very strange.

Hey I found a duck outside my doorway with the EXACT same symptoms! It looks like a domesticated breed. What should I do? It's 12 am and it's been outside since 6:30

Did you place any poison such as rat pellets or any that you can recall? Our duck had some of the same symptoms. take it to the vet as soon as possible.

I used ampicillin (human ) ,but you have to use those very tiny doses .
