Dear Freedomji @Science of Light I'm a just a beginner interested in Jyotish. Been experimenting with conditional dashas and would really appreciate it to know from you on what the antardasha order you or Sanjayji would recommend for Shodasottari dasha. Suppose the MD order is A, B, C ,D, E, F, G, H, how would the antardashas of, for example mahadasha D go on?
Hey @Freedom Cole ! Quick question completely unrelated to the topic. Why are Mars and the Sun related to the study of Jyotisha? Mars maybe because of the occult aspect but why is the Sun included? Both seem to be agni grahas. Is there some relation between agni and looking into the future? Could it also be because the Sun rules the natural 5th house of intuition and speculation?
Lovely video Freedom! 🙏 what a wonderful video & information. Why do we have to pray to different deities?…Ultimately God or whatever we want to call it is everything, it is one. Can we just pray to that One from the Heart in our own way?. Why do we have to go and figure out different deities. There are many people who have cured themselves from incurable diseases by praying to their own version of God in their own way and by practicing affirmation, special diet and change of Mindset and Mind work. Also can we do “puja” in our own way ourselves? Isn’t the intention the most important? Here in the West it’s hard to find specific people who can do Vedic Pujas so I was wondering if we can do it ourselves?
This was a discussion I just had in a graduate group with a student who asked: "Om.. I am not seeing clearly why we can't approach the source for every purpose and why only the specific deities. I get the part that deities are specific facets of the manifested source with a certain flavor of consciousness which are more efficient in their area, but still, how can going straight to Narayan( source) for every little thing *potentially* cannot work- or even, why can it not work just as efficient? My reply was: If your plumbing broke, do you call Modi to fix it? It is not the way things work for general life. Modi’s job is not to care about your individual junk and it’s disrespectful actually to ask ‘him’ to care about such things- he has a big job. The job of the astrologer is to get people to the right department for their ‘function’ to be accomplished. After some more discussion, I added: To be stuck to one deity is not devotion to god it is attachment to a ‘form’ of god. If you listen to the srsti lectures, we went into specific verses by Parashara where he says that the devata in this realm are all the expansion of Narayana/Vasudeva and act accordingly to their ‘function’. They are named based on their function. For people within a specific tradition, we can give variations of their deity to fit the function more closely, but if it’s not the primary function then it will take longer to accomplish their goal. They don’t come to an astrologer because they want to wait a few more years or lifetimes to achieve their goal. From another perspective, how egotistical to think that the form of god (which is your mental realm of god) that you happen to be worshipping is the all and everything- and that some one else’s approach to god may not have some worldly benefit for you. From another perspective, how entitled to think your god will do whatever you want. All gods are expansions of the same source and have the ability to take you back to ‘Narayana’ or whatever the chosen name of Source you use. But you requesting other things/desires from this Source is not faith, it is ignorance. I can fix your plumbing, I am quite capable. What ignorance would you be in to ask me to do such. In reply to another question of all I need is one god from the bhakti literature, I stated: Imagine a doctor who makes chavanprash. He gives it to everyone to keep them young and healthy. It is wonderful, what a great service. Now imagine if a sick person came to this doctor with liver failure and he said ‘just eat your chavanprash’ it fixes everything… imagine if he said this to the person with a brain tumor… however good chavanprash may be it is the wrong medicine for these people, and the doctor has failed to support their cure. As traditional astrologers, we are practitioners of daiva chikitsa, not teachers of bhakti yoga. Please don’t confuse these two.
@@shrifreedom thank you for your reply. I just go by my intuition and inner guidance and when I pray in my own way, I feel I am accessing my Higher Source or my Guides or my ancestral lineage who can help or deliver the message wherever needed. But yes, everything you explained makes sense and I believe it is also true, of course. As I do the mantras prescribed to me by an Astrologer too ☀️🙏

Agni relates to the eyes and the vision to 'See". Jyotisha is the eye of the Vedas.

just leave that sick atheist in his bed. I do not think such people deserve this sort of help from astrology.
Nonsense
