yes you can. You need to contact the caretaker of the hostel and pay the mess fees. I'd prefer Malhar hostel. Food quality was better from other hostels when I was in first year. But Chitrakoot is closest to the campus.
Agressan hostel is good 120+ nit students are already there 4 time food in mess,AC rooms with balcony 4 people capacity in one room clean area ₹6800/month here! But it's 3 km away from NIT Raipur
