I watched the 4 part doc on Apple TV and was all in for camp Ghosn until part 4. The man shows no empathy towards those who have risked and had their lives ruined intentionally or unintentionally since the scandal broke. Nor does it appear he will help aide in the financial burden of these peoples lives who have been turned upside down by the questionable millions of dollars he made during his stint as CEO.

Do you really think… even if Carlos G was engaging in some shady practices… that his AND Greg Kelly’s solitary confinement were justifiable? And that Carlos’ rescuers DESERVED solitary confinement, even so far as to barring the son from seeing his dying father one last time? So far as Greg Kelly not being able to at least let his wife know where he was being led when he was being ambushed? Or not at least being able to go through the operation that he very much needed?
The Japanese legally engaged in human trafficking, and is this any wonder? They’ve committed human trafficking since pre-WW2 era.
None of what these men, including Carlos, went through can ever be justified by his shady practices. The Japanese government and authorities have always gone too far. And they’re always remorseless and inhumane.

I don't think so, they had done some shaddy practices but it's a hidden jealous that lies behind accute attachment in core of Japanese citizens particularly in higher office. Why this jealous? From the history, no Japanese share their learning through interaction with foreign students. Hostage justice system of Japan treat all kind of prisoners as the same manner. It is not fair. They believe that they can do everything and control everything but this has broken by the Honorable Carlos Ghosan, no Japanese can think like because everything happens in THINKING first and action in last. I had huge respect for Japanese citizens but after knowing about the case , it has a little light and faded from its original brightness. God Bless You!

But he is! Look how he treated the people who risked their lives for him. And why did Renault change their stance on him? He’s awful!
