Toga McGurga I spent an entire freaking summer just cutting grass and digging holes. Lol I finally found bow wow and enter the second dungeon to finish the game. Good times.
Idk if there’s an audio issue and that’s why you’re making this comment because I only have my left AirPod in but not my right one so my left ear also loved this video lol
Grass Cutting was the way of the early 90s, but I did the Rapids Race for 3 of the stones as I hoarded cash all game for the first 2. Great thorough video sir.
The length of time the shopkeeper shocks you with force lightning for thievery is a bit overkill, haha! I'm still saving up for the bow and arrow, so these tips might come in handy.
You can make a custom dungeon that has a lot of rooms that don't have locked doors or treasure chests. That way, you can complete the dungeon by only going through four rooms (entryway, room with key, big open room for rupee rain, and boss). If you make the dungeon large enough (with rooms you don't have to go into), you can get about 290-300 rupees per playthrough, and it takes about 45-50 seconds to play through the dungeon, with no buy-in and minimal dialogue to go through to replay. I think that produces the most profit per minute.
When I made a 16 room dungeon I started getting purple rupees very consistently, so it's definitely tied to the number of rooms in a dungeon and there's a good chance your final boss has an influence too.
@@AbdallahSmash It's kind of interesting to speedrun a long dungeon, but it definitely turns sour after a bit. Luckily the farm for the 7 shop slabs is minutes rather than hours with the dungeon method.
So excited to see more and more stuff from you. I can't stop watching! So glad I found you during Super Mario Maker 2 and have gone back to watch older content
It is a shame that Dampe's gold challenges don't yield 300 rupees after the first completion. I managed to set up Zig-Zaggy in such a way that I can go straight up the right side to the boss and complete in about 40 seconds. Would have been great for farming.
Correction. You can actually access the Rapids as soon as you get the Flippers, although you of course won't be able to maximize your gains without the Hookshot, so it's best to wait til you get it to do the Rapids. It's gotten in the very next dungeon after the one that has the Flippers after all, so you won't have to wait very long.
@@AbdallahSmash Why, is it a problem? I was simply stating the facts so ppl would know. Since when is accurate info a bad thing? Nobodies criticizing you, so why are you taking it personally?
I was on the fence all week about buying this game. It’s the first Zelda game I ever played on the OG game boy. I never beat the game, being 6 when I got it so the ending of the game has been a huge mystery for about 30 years 😂 I finally decided right before GameStop was going to close to jump in the car and get it. First thing I did was go to your page and have been farming rupees and watching your (extremely helpful) walkthrough. I knew you wouldn’t disappoint. Also looked at the Nintendo switch lite when I was there, would be perfect to take on the plane with me as my switch battery doesn’t last long at all.
Thanks for the many ways of getting rupees. I was having to take a long time my own ways to farm. And the switch lite looks super sleek. Hope to get one 🤞🏼
@Reviews. Oh no. I wasn't alive when the game was released. Guess I can't enjoy it without being ruined the plot of the game. Woe is me. Grow the hell up, dude.
the reloading of ur save for the raft ride doesnt give the rupees back ive tried many times but could be casue i load the save after i already finished the ride and got to the finish line
I have the Gameboy version from that new switch package . That trendy game has a rotation conveyor belt. Its damn near impossible for me to time ANYTHING there
In the original, I always had max rupees by the end of the game anyway. in the oracle games, you could just shovel forever and get rupees that way, but it's not the same for this game XD
I remember spending hours doing the grass cutting method when I was a kid. Good times.

Link: Ain’t got no time for farming rupees.

So true
My left ear loved this video.
Haha Ikr

Now if I could only get some real-life rupees to buy this game with...
I thought my head phones broke for a second 😂👍🏽
Nah just bad audio quality
Thanks Abdallah! I've just got Links Awakening yesterday, and this was a huge help!
Glad to help!

I touched base with the Dampe method, but Rapid River Race will always be best. 👍
Now I won't get called a thief!
Before I steal I named my character THEIF!!!
Now its not "Legend Of Zelda: Thief's Awakening"
Exactly what i needed to learn the rapids race course. Thanks Abdallah!
Now no one will be called a thief because of your awesome guide. Consider running for president
We appreciate how hard you work for us.
OMG so useful thank you so much!
Thanks for the video, always helps me out!

You're not completely bored out of your mind with Dungeon Maker?

You didn't find him until Mario Maker 2 came out?
I found him when Triforce Herows came out in 2015/2016
What did he shoot with at 5:11 ?????
Bomb arrows. To use them you have to have both equipped and use them at the same time.
@@Dr9zz5 are there more combinations I should be aware of?

Doing the fishing game a lot once the Ol' Baron shows up is really easy too
Not worth the time.
For the river raid, jump and use the boomerang to get all the floating bags of rupees instead of having to go under them
Thank you so much!!!! I was so stunned to see the bow and arrow be 940 rupees! I’m so glad I won’t risk death to steal it!
thanks this walkthrough helps a lot!

the creators of Zelda really know how to make a realistic crane game that crushes your hopes and dreams as much as it does irl
Thanks for the great tips video!
I always put the boss right by the entrance when possible because you can always play the ocarina and warp to the entrance and be to the boss.
Thx great video 🤘
Can’t wait to get it! Thanks for the tip!! You rock!
Super helpful vid! I’ll have to remember to come back to this when my copy comes in the mail
Did it ever come?
For those wondering he’s not great at the river raid, you can get another hundred ruppees or so if you take the right paths.

Not played this yet and I've never played Links Awakening on the Game boy, so all hints and tips are welcome. 👍 🤗
Woah! That's awesome!
Nice and helpful video.
Great info!
Nice vid Abdallah
Those tips were really helpful
It was a tradition for all my playthroughs to be called THIEF.
Thanks for this tip video. :)
Cool, will try it once I get the game !!
this is such a huge help, i hope to apply all this when i get the game!
Hey there. Awesome video
Thanks for the tip
The Rapids Raid sounds great. Thanks for the hints!
Great tips for rupee farming!
You forgot one, the crane game
grab a purple rupee followed by a red rupee, leave the shop, go back in, reapeat.
Too long and not worth mentioning
That is super Helpful to collect rupees!
Heck yeah! Gotta love the Rupees!
adventuring in my own dungeons is the most fun farming method for me.
my left ear enjoyed this video...
Thanks!
This is amazing! Love these tips and that shopkeeper hah!
Thanks for the many ways of getting rupees. I was having to take a long time my own ways to farm. And the switch lite looks super sleek. Hope to get one 🤞🏼
Love this
You can use your boomerang on rapid raid and collect easier
Totally!
I see you touched Dampe's Dungeon Maker with a 10 foot pole.
Love it!!!!!
Everyone complaining about spoilers for a game that's 26 years old 😂
The purpose of the remake is to get people who havent played the original wich came 26 years ago to play this
Reviews. What if I wasn’t born in the that year dumbass
@Reviews. Oh no. I wasn't alive when the game was released. Guess I can't enjoy it without being ruined the plot of the game. Woe is me.
Grow the hell up, dude.
I can’t wait to make my own dungeons 😁
The rapid waters mode actually looks really fun!
Yeah.
Let's be thankful it's not like the original.
(No more screen transitions :D )
How did you get the mirror shield?
really nice video, you need so much rupees in this game, thx man
the reloading of ur save for the raft ride doesnt give the rupees back
ive tried many times
but could be casue i load the save after i already finished the ride and got to the finish line
Wow, guess Link learned his lesson! Thanks for these cool tips and tricks.
Savin this for when I eventually get the dang thing. Thanks for the tips! Also THOSE SHOPKEEPS DON'T MESS AROUND
Yo did you ever get it?
Is there a place I can find the unlock requirements for all the Chamber Dungeon Plus Effects?
I love that shirt! Where did you get it?
Wow, the store owner will love this
I combined the first two. Every time I get the red and purple rupees in the crane game, I cut the big field of grass, rinse and repeat.
It’s cool to see that you can use the crane game to grind rupees, but I’ve heard it’s way harder to win the crane game in the remake. Is that true?
Great video. Does this work for actual Indian rupees?
Love this game great to see some tips for easy rupees
Definitely gonna save this video for later 👀
Alright I’m just here trying to enter the contest that Zelda Universe was talking about...but hey I subscribed! Lol
I have the Gameboy version from that new switch package . That trendy game has a rotation conveyor belt. Its damn near impossible for me to time ANYTHING there
Nice trick
I can’t wait for my birthday and FINALLY get a Nintendo switch and this game.
If you get all the figures in the trendy game, you only have to pay 5 Rupees
Hey man can u tell me why I dont get little red hearts to heal when I take things down. Only been getting bombs and money what do I have to do
You playing on Hero mode?
Not sure think so I chose hard mode
In the original, I always had max rupees by the end of the game anyway. in the oracle games, you could just shovel forever and get rupees that way, but it's not the same for this game XD
5:10 Did you fire a bullet there? What happened?
Bow + Bomb equipped then shoot an arrow
Thanks
Now I have a reason to not be a thief.
I heard in this game is very hard to get rupies so very helpful
Do you know how to duplicate this in real life?
Yes,it a tactic called getting a job
how do you upgrade things in this game?
How do you have the boomerang without giving something up?
In this game you can buy back the shovel after trading it away. Look up a walkthrough.
That claw game always scares me. I keep thinking that the rupee will fall off
antonio boo It will once in a while, even the largest item can fail. It's rigged.
when does the giveaway end anyway?
Thanks for sharing these tips, that claw game is gonna drain them! 😂
how do u get into the trendy game? its blocking me out
fun fact: if you get all the figures you can even cut the price to pay all the way to 5 rupees
great vid needed some extra rupees
The trendy game one is the best one by a long shot
Ima need to do this
For claw game related stuff👀
You dont need rupees, just take what you need from the shop owner and get labeled as THIEF for the remainder of the game
Let me guess, one of the ways is making a chamber with a bunch of extra chests and the rupee room with the rupee effect from the color dungeon.
