It's magnificent that so much machinery and replacement cable was designed and sold just to fix samsung's engineering failure (or is it?).
LCDs were also connected like this but they rarely fails. It is quite clear to me that they deliberately use glue that is not durable and the AMOLED screen is designed to fail in 3~5 years.
Its doesnt have to do with panel but the flex cable, so its company fault. Added that the phone gets super hot. All samsung panels are affected since s7 and up, flagships cause more heat. That includes iphones they use samsung lcd.
thanks for sharing your video. I have the same problem with my samsung S20+. I wish we do have same equipment that you have in repairing the flex cable here in the Philippines. The only thing I can do is to buy new LCD screen and replace it. The problem is too much expensive.

한국에서는 단순 액정 케이블 교체나 청소라고 표현되어 고작 케이블값 몇천원이면 되는 걸 삼성은 교체안해주고 액정갈이만 요구한다고 잘못 돌아다니던데 정확히는 액정 탭 불량으로 영상에 나온 장비가 필요합니다. 발열이라든지 충격, 내구성 등등 문제로 발생하며 s시리즈 백화, 흑화의 경우는 대부분 발열로 인한 겁니다. 또한 삼성이고 애플이고 특정라인에 줄(외부 데미지 없이)이 생기는 것도 줄이 있는 탭 부분 불량으로 대부분 생기고 저런식으로 수리가 가능합니다. 영상에 하얀색 띠같은 걸로 붙혔다 떼는 걸로 보이는데 액정 탭 붙히는 ACF라는 특수테이프더라구요. 현미경으로 확대해서 각 탭 라인 정확히 일치하는지 확인하고요. 즉 저런 장비없이는 개인이 수리 불가능한 영역이에요.
As an English-only speaker and Electrical Engineer, let me see if I understand the bottom line fix. My phone has a flickering white screen that temporarily turns green with a smeared logo and a screen that doesn't respond after a soft reset. Then it's back to the white screen.
I haven't tried a different charger for 10 minutes or booting with the SIM card removed - yet. Anything else I can try before opening? I don't have an HDMI cable to back up, or earphones, which a video I saw required for some testing.
For this video, it appeared that after trying some troubleshooting for other issues, you found you had a bad flex cable or component on the flex circuit that includes the cable. Is that correct?
It would be helpful to slow down what is needed to open the phone.

I'll ask workers in the phone service if they have this machinery, but is there an option with less machinery? What I mean by that is, some stuff are possible to do with more common tools, but machines make it way easier.
well, looks like you can do all the reassembling parts just with normal cellphone tools, patience and a hair dryer, but i think its not possible to weld another flex cable without an precision instrument

He used the same old screen but changed the flex cable (screen connection) the old cable was damaged.
@@Sierra_mikeYes .. my phone is still broken i couldn't find the display flex and repairers are not interested in this kind of reparations.. they want to change the entire display to make more money obviously! Im in Germany.

Device: Samsung Galaxy M31s
Problem: Black Sceen with 2 vertical white lines on the left side of the screen.
•By force restart (long press Volume down + Power button)
Device is getting on with vibration showing Samsung then model name is showing clear but after then again screen is going off!
Samsung Service Centre technician directly told it's Super Amoled display is needed to be replaced by new one!
Is really display the reason?

Is there a way I can use my phone on the tv and back it up to the cloud before I fix this white screen issue. I don’t want to lose all my files and data. Will the white screen eventually cause my data to be lost, I can replace a phone but not the files. This is sad.

My s20+ started showing pink vertical line from nowhere. no drops. first time it went away after a power reset. then it reappeared after few days later. never went away. 16 K INR for screen replacement. 16 months old. exchange value 3K only. if goahead and change screen will it reoccur again ? Feel let down by samsung.

Is there a way I can back up my phone before the screen is fix. I don’t want to take a chance in losing my files and data potentially. Will white screen delete my files and data. Frustrating

@@DisrespectTheRespect I was able to back up my files and data to the cloud. I bought me in February the S23 ultra. Since the screen was damage and barely stayed on I smart switch my info from the old phone to the new phone using my Samsung tv and I had to keep my phone on an ice pack to keep it from overheating fast. What a process. Everything worked out.
