Baffles me how they praised Sonic Generations so much when Sonic Mania was so much better! Maybe it's just because I'm old school and grew up in the 8bit/16 bit era of the 90s.
That we are getting DLC for a Sonic game from nearly 15 years ago is the best example possible that games hit a point of diminishing returns a decade ago and we simply don’t need that many new games anymore.
It would be cool if they did a Lego Zelda and part of the agreement is for it to appear on PS since Horizon is coming to Switch. Wouldn't be a bad idea for Nintendo to start doing this kind of cross-promotion, either. Keeping the flagship titles exclusive but doing these kinds of spin-offs on other platforms to promote their characters and pull in new players to the Nintendo ecosystem. Not that Nintendo is really hurting for console sales this generation, but consoles come and go so it would be a great long-term strategy.
It will never happened. During wii u era , everyone wants Nintendo to go multiplat and it never happened, with switch massive success, you expect it to happen? 😁

@peer, My game cube carrying case had a slot for the console handle, so it had a purpose 😂and carried my 2 wave birds for melee battles at friends.
Still waiting for Nintendo's Summer Direct. Everyone else had their "directs" during what would be E3 season, but Nintendo is usually last because they have the best announcements. 👍

The best (unofficial) Switch (2) reveal of the of summer so far was DOOM The Dark Ages.
C'mon, we all know it's coming, maybe even as a launch title if the timing is right ;)
If id / Microsoft were dedicated enough to port DOOM Eternal to Switch, porting its next-gen sequel to a brand new Nintendo system is a no brainer.

Summer WHAT reveals 👀
This is the first time I've seen Logan's and jada's room setup. Logan is minimalistic (only desired games), Peer is conservative (lock and key / frosted doors), and Jada is a boarder line hoarder lol (figurines are expanding to the floor!).
No figures on the floor that is a carefully stacked tower of plushies! I’ve been fortunate to get access to a lot of swag in my 10+ years covering games. Well that and the amount of money I spent on Amiibos 😂

Because it’s one of like 3 franchises that Switch players would buy and have no second thoughts about buying it again 6-12 months later on with the inevitable improvements.
@@jadarina5035 Mario Kart is a brand that non-gamers know and buy. That’s why it’s at 60 million copies sold. And that’s why you need it as a catalyst for Switch 2 sales. People who want Mario Kart 9 with powerful new gameplay and graphics need to buy Switch 2. You can’t taint and muddy Mario Kart 9 by also releasing an inferior version on the old Switch, no way. Mario Kart 9 is a Switch 2 game.
