New in the underbone motorcycle segment is the 2024 Yamaha PG-1. Touted as an outdoor lifestyle bike, the PG-1 makes its debut in Thailand, the result of a collaboration between Yamaha Japan and Thailand.
The 2024 PG-1 has a minimalist design for optimal off-road use. Classic halogen round headlights. Simple analog clock, displaying speed, gear level and small fuel level indicator. The body and fairing are aggressive with minimalist cuts, similar to the Cross Cub 110.
With an underbone frame, the PG-1 gets a 115 cc air-cooled engine taken from the Yamaha Finn. This engine combined with 4-speed gearbox. Fuel consumption is 1.69 liters/100 km.Styling follows the off-road adventure/scrambler style, seen on competitors such as the Honda CT125 and Aveta Ranger Max Explorer in Malaysia.
A departure from the norm is the PG-1 long travel telescopic front fork, with a protective rubber boot for an authentic off-road rugged look. Plus wide handlebars and a single round halogen headlight in the style of a 1970s scrambler.
Twin preload-adjustable shock absorbers at the rear give the PG-1 additional ground clearance, around 190 mm under the engine. Thick tires adorn 17-inch wheels, with braking provided by a single hydraulic disc at the front and a mechanical drum brake at the rear.
The fuel tank located under the seat has a capacity of 5.1 liters. Vehicle weight 107 kg. Seat height 795 mm and ground clearance 190 mm. PG-1 is 1,980 mm long, 805 mm wide, 1,050 mm high. Wheelbase 1,280 mm.
The standard equipment of the Yamaha PG-1 includes classic round halogen headlights and taillights, an analog clock displaying speed and gear level, a small fuel level indicator, and a mechanical key.
There are four color options available for the PG-1, namely yellow, blue, black and brown. Pricing information for the PG-1 is likely to be released in its official reveal taking place at the 40th Thailand International Moto Expo in Bangkok on November 30.

I hope yamaha makes me yamahas partner if yamaha could create.
Something that looks sort of ugly, I don't think they were playing.
I must have misinterpreted them, reason being, people here.
Greedy, cunning and self centered, materialistic.
    And only bothered about themselves.
And don't care about someone else's livelihood.
If they have a job or how are they going to live without a job...?
It's like, all they know is to snatch from everyone.
Anyways, I was serious about becoming a part of yamaha, as a partner, engineer etc.
The only thing I want to say from my side, is that I never thought that yamaha was serious.
About me becoming a part of yamaha.
Actually I feel apologetic, since it is day and nights difference from people here.
And people over there, which is the root cause of all the misunderstandings.
I'll tell you one thing openly if two strokes aren't manufactured once again.
And sold, there's no other way to attract more customers.
