After you mount it, it's washer, lock washer, then nut. Not the washer in between the bracket.
Dig the music! I have those lights on my ATV, and they more than do the trick.
8:45 and he said "Let there be light!" great video man.
I just got a 2007 4wd Limited sequoia for college and in the end I would love to copy your truck and make it a beast
Just got a 2004 Sequoia. You're inspiring me to work on mine!
Do it, bud. These truck are easy to work on and so great to drive.
SO funny I have the same truck, same color, same bumper and same lights. Boom! Except I have 4 light. holes not two so I set a pair of Baja design 3x3 in the other holes wit ha harness as offroad driving lights. I bought the SAE V-DOT versions of the Rigids cuz the regulars are way too bright as fogs
*Faceplam* come on man, don't wire nut that....Solder it and put some heat shrink on it. I'm an industrial controls and automation electrician and wire nuts PERIOD are not meant for use in automotive use.
And to be fair, by NO MEANS am I dogging on you. I LOVE what you've done with the sequoia and have thus inspired me to get my own 2005 Sequoia and do a real similar build on mine but please please please, don't use wire nuts ever on a vehicle.
The Audiophile why are wire nuts a no no on vehicles
Creepy Cooter they can vibrate loose.
@@JD.5150 Update: 2.5 years later and still no problems.
That's an amazing brand and quality though!
Thanks for sharing! Those lights look great!
Thanks buddy. Yeah i love them. They provide so much light.
Come on man. Great videos and my sequoia is upcoming. I'll be calling for advise on a lift. But I agree with the below comment. Many ways to skin a cat but twist nuts are for houses. Soldier and shrink wrap or at a minimum use a shrink wrap crimp connector. Keep up the videos. Love seeing the sequoia love off road.
Meh.. 2.5 years later and zero problems.
Love that Bumper , wish you had that style for 2003 Tundra . Those lights are Awesome
They do. Talk to Billy at bruteforcefab.com. Tell him I sent you.
@@1stgenoffroad Hey , Josh I'm getting ready to do a Suspension upgrade . What would you recommend ? The 5100s with Dobinson Coil on front or the Eibach Lift kit or ? Thanks
@@kanibis420 I would go with the ARB shock/spring combo. www.1stgenoffroad.com/store/p615/ARB2.25inchFrontLiftKitSequoia.html#/
@@1stgenoffroad thanks
Love the videos, thank you for making these. I look forward to ordering some shocks from you, possibly the front metal bumper.
Thanks man. Let me know if you have any questions.
So bright. I’m guessing I can’t use these as fog lights?
RIGID has an SAE option for street legal fog use.
Cool video, I own a Sequoia. Love it never failed me one time!
Awesome. Yeah, it's hard to beat these trucks.
The flat washer is supposed to go on the bottom side of that bumper bracket and then the lock washer and then the nut that’s the correct way to put that on whether you keep it that way where you did it is your problem
I didn't realize I had a problem. I've had it set this way for over 4 years and they haven't moved.
Good video man, I ended up ordering those PRO-TUNE Upper control arms for my sequoia, I will prob put them on this weekend , ill be sure to post a video, my upper control arms have been hitting my springs so I had to do something.
Wire nuts… on a car? Wow😂
I was looking at the HD MODEL DRIVING LIGHT SAME LIGHT AS YOUR BUT THE 2019 UPGRADED I THINK FOR 2 it’s about 420$.
Badass light man
Thanks buddy. Light up even better in real life!
The lights in this video can be found here: www.1stgenoffroad.com/episode-9-products.html
Is it brighter than dss pro driving
Nice videos man. I have a 06 sequoia and i love her. Do you plan on putting a rear metal bumper?
Thanks! And I plan a rear bumper. Don't tell my wife. lol.
Like the snorkel vid. But how do I get a sticker. Wanna stick that s.o.b. on my 06 DC 4X4. LIVE OUT IN NORCAL AND I "KNOW" I'll be the only rocking that thing. 🤙
Great vid!
Thanks!
I recently bought a car that came with those lights but no wiring anyone know where can I order the wires only? Thank you.
Which one sa better spread driving or flood
Flood. Oddly enough, the driving lights are a little too bright for oncoming traffic.
What year is your tundra and which brand is you awesome front bumper? Thank you.
So the truck in the video is a Sequoia. It's an 04. I also have a 2006 white tundra and a 2004 blue tundra. Thanks for liking my bumper. It can be found here: www.1stgenoffroad.com/store/c21/Bumpers%2FArmor.html#/
Is it gona blind others driver opposite of you?
Yes. Treat these like high beam lights. Also great for dark trails or if you're afraid of the dark.
When will these be back in stock?
Josh, what's yhe different between d series pro and dually?
Those lights draw more power than the stock fog lights right? so you would burn out the wire? I just bought these and the bumper from your site.
Not sure what the OE fogs draw. So far so good and the fuse is still good too. If there’s a concern, the lights come with it’s own switch and fuse.
@@1stgenoffroad ok just wanted to make sure before I wired them. I got the Dryconn wire connectors too. I just sent you an email about some more products, I am looking to buy.
You can get them for $290 on amazon. Thats with tax.
Easier if buy 9006 adapter.
Did you splice both lights onto the one factory harness? Or did you have to run the other one to a different harness? Please reply!
Spliced them both to the factory fog harness. No problems.
Is that a stock headlight?
As far as I know.
Does anyone know the dimensions of that light bucket on the bumper?
whats the best way to have fogs on without head lights?
Wire them using their own switch. Like I did with the bar light here: ruclips.net/video/aQFyKwXbeRI/видео.html
Are you guys hiring?
How much does your Bumper weigh Bro?. Thx for any info👌🏽
About 130 pounds
Is it safe to use on highway?
Probably too bright for oncoming traffic.
@@1stgenoffroad which one do you suggest?
Can you install these in the factory fog locations?
You should be able to remove the factory fogs and mount the new lights. Wiring them up would be the same as described in the video.
Being an owner of rigids, even having them aimed down is not good for oncoming drivers. The driving pattern has to much light.
Yeah, I’ve noticed. I use them like I would use high beam lights. As they light up the road better than my high beams.
1stgenoffroad I have the SAE lights and even still they are bright for oncoming traffic.
