- In this episode of Mornings with Mel, Melissa Faisst walks us through Matthew 14:28-33 and the story of Peter walking on the water to Jesus.
Oftentimes, Jesus calls us out of our comfort zones, out of our place of "safety" to a place where we have to trust Him. And often the winds will come to cause us to go back in fear, but if we focus on Jesus' strength rather than the waves strength, we will not be shaken.
So if you are feeling afraid to jump out of the boat and trust Jesus, or if you already have but now you feel like you are drowning, this episode is for you!

Mel… I have no words. God is so faithful. Your obedience was attached to my deliverance. This word has been in my heart for almost a month now. God used you to piece everything together in this short podcast. This got recommended to me today on my notifications and I’m currently on a fast that I titled “Faith over fear” because right now I’m experiencing more fear than faith. My circumstances have pushed me outside my comfort zone and I know in my spirit that I need a stronger faith in this season of facing so many unknowns with my studies and my job and my business idea and my relationships. It was just perfect that you named this video “faith over fear” because that’s what attracted me here. Thank you Jesus and thank you Mel. I truly am grateful. Such a blessing. Perfect timing. Beloved, to those that feel God is not speaking to you.. God will speak at the right time. His delay is always purposeful. ❤️
I took a LEAP OF FAITH this last year.
God was there every step of the way.
I showed him daily that I have FAITH IN HIM!!!

Thanks ms me my name is Joshua I enjoyed the podcast a lil about I am rapper and actor my parents raised us up as Jehovah witness I recently had a leg injury and been dealing with pain by my heart I really wanna get back to California it’s always on my mind I just want clearing that I should and I am a lil afraid because when I was out there a year ago I was attending church everyday Rapping n Acting then my left leg went numb but I still believe I just wish something supernatural could happen for me I wish I could meet Jesus and he could make anything happen for me I have been faithful and I have a good heart I really do I hope he can hear my plea
