What’s the movie Transformers: Dark of the Moon about?
Optimus Prime, the Autobots and Sam Witwicky (Shia Labeouf) are back in the third movie of the famous franchise from director Michael Bay : Transformers.
Two years after the Egypt incident, the Autobots and their human allies discover a piece of Cybertronian technology which is part of an Autobot spacecraft that crashed on the moon. After bringing back the body of Sentinel Prime and reviving it, they learn that with this new discovery come new threats for the Earth and humankind.
They will have to start once more a war with the Decepticons to prevent them from trying to enslave humanity and bring all Cybertron on Earth.

This just shows that humanity is the most adaptive and deadliest race out there. If we aren’t all fighting a common enemy, we are always fighting each other. It’s how the human race is. And my God is it amazing to see humans kick some alien robot ass

Barricade was literally on a short fuse when dealing with some of the Protoforms (0:46 - 0:50). He didn't want any mistakes with Earth becoming New Cybertron, which made him a higher class fighter, as he's still part of the original Decepticon group and the only one that hasn't been killed yet.

Barricade is actually pointing blame on the others for not helping Starscream and Soundwave. The duo along with Shockwave are Megatron's powerful lieutenants.
This is the one time people actually loved seeing humans in action in the Bayverse, cuz this goes hard af.

The one thing I will say that I really like about these movies is that they actually speak Cybertronian. I'd say the first movie is best for it but its just nice to hear to really enforce the idea that they're aliens. I also have a soft spot for aliens that actually speak their language. Just kinda wish they did more for the decepticons since there isn't anything else to them aside from being the standard evil aliens.

If you mean scifi action, the trilogy was pretty good at that (it should've remained a trilogy). Overall action movie though, there are a lot of better ones that beat it. Cause action has sub-genres so to say outright action is debatable, scifi action on the other hand for the Transformers movies (original 3) they do have some pretty good action moments

I think that when barricade pushed around a random decepticon, he wasn't speaking in English because the other decepticons just arrived on earth and didn't have time to learn the language
The human soldiers have REALLY come a long way since the first movie. At first, they had to wait until the Autobots arrived before they stood a chance. But look at this; they managed to take down 6 Decepticons BEFORE the Autobots showed up. Humans FTW!

That's the main issue with these movies, the humans get more development than the actual Autobots.

@@tarzantabi7845 They were just background characters just like in the 2nd one. 4 & 5 did a better job at handling the Autobots and giving them character developments and that's why Bay fans hated it because they wanted to military to take centre stage.

Remember when Sentinel called transformers gods, and then the decepticons get owned like this lol. I like how Dino in this situation has no chance to get kills cuz he's only a melee champ and there's no chance of sneaking around cuz they have to cross a bridge rendering him practically useless and on defense until a stupid decepticon would decide to cross to potential push them
Dino canonically according to the DOTM game has a cloak along with a sniper rifle and an SMG for a secondary

In the first Transformers movies, small arms were considered ineffective against the decepticons.
Yet as the series progressed, the decepticons became susceptible to almost everything?
it supposed the be sabot rounds or special armor rounds, in the first movie that found out that transformer armor can be penetrated with sabot. that is why they had grenade launchers in the first movie because they were sabot rounds or something similair.
so a direct it from a Abrams tanks with sabot loaded is supposed to a lot of damage

The focus on action is fantastic, but the battle could do with more explicit narrative imo.
Maybe a quick rundown before jumping that the decepticons have formed a defensive line in front of the pillars building. They can't get through, until optimus obviously

So the humans went from failing to kill one mini con with tons of rifle rounds, two A-10s going brrrrt and an AC130 going boom boom, to killing like 5 cons with rifle rounds and tiny bombs

In the first movie they were shooting everything they had into the decepticons which worked to a degree but they could still take a hit. In the second they still use the brute force tactics but it’s more focused like they focus fire on a single one and then by the third one they’ve found weaknesses like the eyes, shins and behind the neck. It just shows how efficient and how they’ve adapted to fighting a foe humans have never encountered and by the 4th movie they can take out any transformer within a few minutes with just a few vehicles and soldiers because they’ve gotten down all the weak spots. And i assume they use a lot of ap rounds in their weapons on top of that. All their gear by 3 is specifically designed to fight decepticons

He looked like he was trying in an extremely slow, out-of-character and plot-convenient way to maybe remove the silk parachute wrapped over his head.
Yep the inertia of a 80kg flying man with parachute can pull rorate him - a full of metal body with around 10 tons.
