The speed of a song heavily impacts the vibe it gives off! A lot of the times deeper songs are slower by normal standards and slowing them down a little more makes them extremely deep. With normal songs at a normal-fast pace do hit harder, because your brain associates slow music with a generally deeper and heavier hitting type of music. You’re more likely to take the lyrics seriously and notice the thought and emotion out into them if you have time to process them. (It’s entirely possible for deep songs to not be super fast, Or not so deep songs to be slow - it’s more of a “this is how people’s brains usually react and I think this is probably why” type thing and not a “this is a genuine and intentional law of music” type thing. )
