can you do a thunderbird tutorial since I notice for my hotmail account I can do some sort of privacy encryption settings like openPGP / end to end encryption stuff on thunderbird. does this make it safer compared to using the hotmail web platform?

Hi Rob. I've come across your channel after losing my gmail account to hackers I believe. Google wouldn't give me a reason why they closed it and said the account has been closed. They just gave me a link to terms of service. Unfortunately I lost all my mail and couldn't recover it. I also use Apple mail but found out if I disconnect their cloud services I also lose my mail. Much frustration for a non technical person.
However I like what you present (although scary to me what I don't know) and was wondering about Thunderbird for mail however they want me to link my current mail or purchase one form another service.
Do you have information as to how I can use a mail program, or set one up, that I won't be held ransom to?
Oh, I'm also using an apple computer, reluctantly.
There are so many free email providers and it really doesn't matter which if you are using it for pseudo anonymous purposes (gmail, outlook, yahoo, icloud).
But for personal use with your real name, go for a paid service. Just for a little more privacy (not much but a tad more)
Mine was retrieved back by some guy here on Twitter that I was referred to, @TobiasCyber his a life saver you all could get help from him.

@@robbraxmantech love your channel Rob! In more recent videos you sensibly suggest things proton mail et al. Just press a target on your back and I haven't heard you mention the thunderbird an or web browsers are more secure than the android gmail app as you did in this video. Is the password at least encrypted via gmail app over wifi yet? Still use (locked down brave or Firefox) browsers and or thunderbird?
@@robbraxmantech also, why do you trust Yubico more than and open source key like Onlykey Nitrokey or Solokey? Have you vetted that no unauthorized packets or keylogging come from them or something?

Are'nt PGP messages using e-mail technology?
You have that in reverse. PGP can be used in email BODY but it doesn't have any impact on the meta data which is in the headers.
Hi Rob i was scammed out of over 200k. The scammer has left his email open .. can i do a reverse email to find out his location. Any help please.
