I think I’ve been delaying God’s will in my life for the past 5-7 years. Things and people I should’ve let go of, I held onto because of comfort, familiarity, and fear. Yesterday I turned completely towards Him and said God take it all. Ctrl+Alt+Delete my plans permanently and take control. Your will only and none of mine, your heart only and none of mine. If he’s calling you to do it as well go ahead and give in. There’s peace and comfort on this end knowing you’re no longer in charge and the one leading you is ALWAYS right. This is speaking to me in ways I did not imagine it would. I just turned 18, and I have a huge goal to sing for God, making music and songs that glorify him and encourage/comfort others . GOD has reasssured me over and over again that he is for this musical dream I have and he has also gifted me oppurtunities and friends and family who support me fully I even have connections with studios but I still doubt that I'm good enough. I doubt that my voice is as good as others since I'm not as trained and that I lack musical intelligence. Sometimes, I even convince myself that I dont know where to start and that all my songs are garbage. But I was self sabotoging all along. Journaling can be crazy because you can look back and see just how many times Gods hand was pushing you in a specific direction and how many times you turned him down or ignored his words of encouragement. For me, repentance and turning my thoughts/ actions towards God right now is my portion. I will not delay the lords' will for me any longer. IM JUMPING IN HEAD FIRST because in the back of my mind, I have always known. There is a God , he has my back, and my work is to simply trust him and be.

I am sitting here trying to find the words to explain how much this video touched me. There came a time in my life when I found myself questioning myself and my relationship with God. I wasn't praying as much and I didn't pick up my bible quite as much, let a part of me longed to have a connection with God. When I did start devoting time to God, things started change (and some things in my life also started to fall apart). I've always felt that God has a purpose for me and would like for me to do more. I have no clue as to what, but I feel that that is has to do with my writing as I love to write. I actually used to work as an Administrative Assistant at a church that once attended. The church had a newsletter and I would contribute essays that I had written. A few of my essays (all spiritual) would get good feedback. I think about that and I feel that somehow God would like for me to use my writing Yet, no idea of how do that was coming to mind and I became frustrated. I was having a crisis of faith. I was feeling lost because I had no idea of how I am going to about using my writing for the glory of God. After watching this video, I feel that my faith is being restored, I have a blog where I have written a lot of essays and perhaps.....(You don't mind PB) I could post the link here, so that anyone who is interested can read it. Ik God places this video on my time line for a reason. I was just talking to my bsf about how I just been very distant from God and reading my Bible because I have a feeling of guilt. I saw this video just as I was struggling with the desire God had given me, after receiving the Isaiah 14:24 “The Lord of hosts has sworn: "As I have planned, so shall it be, and as I have purposed, so shall it stand,” These past few days, God is calling me to a greater mission, to disciple 12 people before the year ends, and mind you, I was just a normal Asian 17 years old. I don’t know what to do; I became stagnant with this desire God had planted in me because of the overwhelming amount of faith it requires, to the point that I keep on asking, "Why me?" This video suddenly appears on the main page of my RUclips, and it speaks to me, the spying scenario. How I wanted to see all the details just because I don’t think I can. God is indeed killing my doubt in my season. Please pray for my faith to increase. The Lord’s plan will occur; all I need is to just go and trust Him every time I go. At first, I thought it was just a coincidence, but it kept happening randomly...and at times when I would stop at a light, I would be behind a car with a license plate starting with "THY". If the music you listen to does not bring you closer to God, it’s not what you should be listening to. That’s why I only listen to Christian rap now. That’s me personally though so I think if you’re being challenged by the current playlist you listen to you should ask yourself the same question. Truly, is the music you listen to bringing you closer to God? It’s not a matter of whether it’s "sinful" or not. That’s a low standard. We should always be seeking to grow closer to God. (John 10:28-29, Romans 8:38-39, Ephesians 1:13-14, Philippians 1:6, 1 Peter 1:3-5, John 6:37, Romans 11:29, Hebrews 7:25, 2 Timothy 1:12. Jude 1:24) Now that doesn't mean to just go about and freely sin because no matter what you have eternal life, God gave you the Holy Spirit which is now a new nature in you! Now go and spread this good news with others too, that they may share your same joy that they get to have eternal life through Jesus Christ!
1) Pray for them. Take them to Jesus in prayer, and ask God to go after them according to John 10:16 and Matthew 18:10-14...including these verses in your prayers about your friends 2) Live your life for Christ... When Christ is in you, they will organically see that you have God in you. It's not about being perfect but about loving God genuinely. Pursue Matthew 6:33 and your friends will see the light of God in you overtime. 3) Wait. You can't save your friends, only Jesus can... It could be in 1 week or in 1 year. Maybe even 10 years. Keep praying for them because of what 1 Timothy 6:7 says. Just remember to put God above your friends, don't fall into their patterns of sins and worldly behavior, and remember to ask God for Christian friends, He will send them ❤

These past few days, God is calling me to a greater mission, to disciple 12 people before the year ends, and mind you, I was just a normal Asian 17 years old. I don’t know what to do; I became stagnant with this desire God had planted in me because of the overwhelming amount of faith it requires, to the point that I keep on asking, "Why me?"
This video suddenly appears on the main page of my RUclips, and it speaks to me, the spying scenario. How I wanted to see all the details just because I don’t think I can. God is indeed killing my doubt in my season. Please pray for my faith to increase. The Lord’s plan will occur; all I need is to just go and trust Him every time I go. Great reminder. I've been noticing as I drive in more recent months different people's license plates with the beginning "THY". At first, I thought it was just a coincidence, but it kept happening randomly...and at times when I would stop at a light, I would be behind a car with a license plate starting with "THY". I am learning there are no coincidences with God. It's "Thy will..." That's what he's been helping me with. God bless y'all--let's learn together!

this is exactly where I'm at. The downfall and helping others build their dreams feeling stuck and not knowing how to move forward because not knowing if what I may want in my life aligns to God's will. Is listening to rap music okay as a Christian? I listen to rappers that have good backgrounds (I never listen to Uzi or Carti because they are literal satanists) I struggle with the question because I think that what some of them rap about is ungodly, but at the same time, they’re Christian’s as we are and only rap about those things. I like to think that they’re rapping about what the world is and how it’s wrong. What do you think?
I appreciate your comment brodie. I live by a standard which is always along myself, "does this thing bring me closer to God or compete with God?" If the music you listen to does not bring you closer to God, it’s not what you should be listening to. That’s why I only listen to Christian rap now.
That’s me personally though so I think if you’re being challenged by the current playlist you listen to you should ask yourself the same question. Truly, is the music you listen to bringing you closer to God? It’s not a matter of whether it’s "sinful" or not. That’s a low standard. We should always be seeking to grow closer to God. Yo, I've been trying to get my friends to believe in Christ, and they acknowledge him, but still don't believe in Him. Any tips on how to help them?
1) Pray for them. Take them to Jesus in prayer, and ask God to go after them according to John 10:16 and Matthew 18:10-14...including these verses in your prayers about your friends 2) Live your life for Christ... When Christ is in you, they will organically see that you have God in you. It's not about being perfect but about loving God genuinely. Pursue Matthew 6:33 and your friends will see the light of God in you overtime. 3) Wait. You can't save your friends, only Jesus can... It could be in 1 week or in 1 year. Maybe even 10 years. Keep praying for them because of what 1 Timothy 6:7 says. Just remember to put God above your friends, don't fall into their patterns of sins and worldly behavior, and remember to ask God for Christian friends, He will send them ❤
