Meg, you are amazing! You “Are” a modern woman. No childish expectations, you are an incredible example to other single parents that you can be happy accountable and still live your dreams!

@@lorisanford8515 It never ceases to amaze me that people can watch such an inspirational video by an intelligent well balanced woman explaining their lifestyle and how their vehicle works and it's limitations, then when you read the comments you get about 10 people who all nèver pay attention and they all ask the following questions:- 1. How do you earn a living whilst on the road ? 2. Where do you Poop ? 3. Where do you shower ? I feel very proud for her. She seems to have gained a lot of conscious about raising her daughter. Every day is a unique experience for both. God bless her and her child.
Let's talk bout fresh air for a second. I can tell u from experience dwelling in a low volume space with elevated humidity the smell factor goes up add some amazing pets and it gets gross.
Meg. I can't believe how much I love you! I love your van. I love your style. I love your outlook. I am inspired as Hell to live my Own life, and I feel like I've finally found someone who UNDERSTANDS that. I too, am a single mom of one daughter. Thanks a billion, woman! You are fantastic!! You have a new fan for life! Cheers and love to you and Molly :)
@Tony Lopez There's hope 4 u in that you are aware of the fact that you 'need a crap' sooo badly that the very idea has not only become your handle but your person. Good job and best of luck with your vividly offal imagination! Yes, you can have the last word as it's apparent you are bereft.
Through the video you can feel the comfort of this home. It’s so nice! I wish this had been a thing when I was a young single mom 30 years ago. I’m older now retired. But I want a home like this so bad. For my husband and I and our pets. I want it so we can go visit our daughter who lives in another state. This mom has done an amazing job with this home. And how wonderful for her and her daughter to get to live in a beautiful unique home with 2 cats and a dog. I love this home! Very smart momma! And a very lucky daughter. God bless them both! Leslye
Forrest, I am speechless! Thank you so much for capturing this and sharing our story. It’s a vulnerable thing to do and you captured so much of our truth. Thank you so much ❤️
The Step Van Diary BRAVO! Ignore the few naysayers...you have done a magnificent thing! I rewatched the early videos on IG and my gracious Molly has blossomed before our eyes. She's so self confident and at ease with herself and life. Whatever decisions and changes are forthcoming, I know that y'all both will succeed and grow even more awesome. ❤️❤️❤️
I don't have a child, and am not having any. But I want you to know that many of your bits of wisdom were insightful for me. Be your own hero. Simple but important. Congratulations on the beautiful home and life you've made for yourself and your daughter! I think she will be a better person for it.
So encouraged by your journey. We have been almost 4 years in a self-converted Sprinter van. One of the hardest things was getting rid of all the "stuff". We still have "stuff" from the previous house in storage, long story, we're caring for 93 and 95yo parents, so "one day" we will go through all the stored stuff and eliminate more. We LOVE your home. We are planning a box van, "after Mum & Dad", so your layout has been very inspiring. Thank You!
The cats don’t even try to go out? Love what you did for your daughter. You have a wise child. Glad your parents supported you. Love your decor. Listening to you I hear the respect you have for your daughter. Do you have a RUclips channel?
Love this! I remember her old set up and this seems to suit them so much better. One thing about “van lifers” (of which I hope to be in the near future) is their ability to adapt and keep going. Respecting her daughter and giving her what she needed while still living the life she herself longed for is good parenting and a lesson in adaptability. Thanks for the video!
This comment is a breath of fresh air as well as this video. I can lifed with my husband who recently passed away leaving me pregnant with our first. This is an option I look at often and don’t have much support for. Bless y’all
OffAirhead I lived in a van with my son, two dogs and a few cat for on and a half year in Europe. Now we take a break but I cannot wait to be on the road again.
Single mom of an 11 year old daughter, we leave in 3 weeks into an rv! Been a long journey til now and making it happen! Looking forward to finding more parents and kids on the road 😊
So I’m watching this video again, a year later, thank you everyone for the comments I bought an RV shortly after this comment and have spent the last year building it out and last month it was stolen out of my driveway so I am starting all over.
Well I think your mobile home is really beautiful the way you have it set up, and an eleven year old daughter to from what I can see your a good young mother thanks for sharing g take care ❤
As a mother, I love what you are doing for you and your daughter never give up I watch this a lot and they have this portable shower it’s round and you just pop it up like a yo-yo shower get dry and you drain the water right out the door with a hose. It is so neat. Look into it. Happy trails. Keep everybody posted.❤️

Your van is GORGEOUS, inside and out! Molly must be so proud to have helped with it. The lessons here are that: Anything is possible and less is more ✌🏻
Meg, great job and courage to follow your heart. Your van is very charming and cozy. I'm 61 and tired of my job and considering to do what you are doing. I LOVE the fact that the interview is being done while it's raining...it just makes the whole thing so relaxing! *sips cocoa* :D

Really love this interview heavy format. Most van tours just focus on the van and not the person in it. Meg, you're an inspiration!
The sound of the rain is heavenly.
