I have the hatchback version. It gets great mileage. The front seats go way back, great for road trip naps. I love that it only takes up half a parking space.
@@Iveswoods68 Kellie's absolutely right, this guy is full of ----. I have the '14 Accent GLS, and it runs just great. Just took it to Tahoe and got 40+ miles to the gallon! It's definitely a good car period - not just for the money.
You can get the fog lights on the 2014 Hyundai Accent SE sedan too I saw one at a car dealership that had one and I really love the design of this car.
So after watching your video, I do have to ask, is there anything positive to this car you have to say? I mean everything besides the gages have been negative. Hyundai has come so far in their cars. Give it a chance dude. Although I do like Kia over Hyundai.

"Over styled look like the Sonata and Elantra"?? The style of the Sonata and Elantra is eye catching and why would you want to bland them down. I have an Elantra and I get so many complements on what a sharp good looking car it is. I myself am not interested in the Accent, but it would make a good budget friendly first car for a young driver. Also, when you review a car you need to be realistic, this is a model for people on a tight budget, so why would it have all the luxury of an expensive car. So many of you car reviewers expect so much for so little money.

Other cars may be boring looking in comparison but the styling will at least age well. My Accord is a 2003 and easily gets mistaken for a 2010-12 all the time. Meanwhile the sonata from the same time period could easily pass as a car from the 90's.
You are entitled to your opinion, but remember what looks good is in the eye of the beholder, and I find them eye catching and so do many others. I honestly get complements often. The Elantra and Sonata are very popular in the northeast, I see them everywhere. I'm sorry but I have to disagree, I do not see the design as cheap looking but to the contrary. As far as Honda's, they do not have the good reputation as they once did and their cars over the last few years are not known for reliability. The 03 accord was very plain and the 11 looks different on the lower part of the body including the grill but still a simple design, but I still can't image anyone thinking they look alike unless they are not keeping up with the changes over the years. But I can see why you don't like the swoops and lines of the Hyundai's because you seem to prefer a plain style which is how I view the accord. We all have our own taste and to each their own. But for me, I would take a Hyundai any day, except for the Accent.
