    Good content, but to protect seed investors in legal docs you can put note that they can be protected to be deluded. Do everything is going out from yours equity to keep their percentage. Most like not all of them asking during initial meeting about that. Before they invest/believe in you they want guarantees

    First love your channel! A question: IF yo don't value high, VC would get more percentage of shares with the same amount of investment, is it right?

    Hey, Chris quick question. If a couple of years down the line I wanted to buy back the shares from the seed investors before I sell the company or go IPO, how likely is that to happen? Does it happen often? How willing are seed investors to sell me back their shares or is that not how the game works at all.

    You own 10% 100k and another investor comes in at 10% 1mil; doesn't first investor still own 10%?

    • @chris.haroun
      @chris.haroun  7 месяцев назад

      Great question. If I own 100 percent of a $100 company and you buy $10 of it then I am diluted to 90% ownership and you own 10%. Every time you raise money from investors at least one investor gets diluted. Thanks

    • @rodneythomas8686

      @@chris.haroun thanks Chris. I'm new to the game and a bit naive. Been looking at seed capital to drive growth. But what i'm learning is you first gotta do the hard yards to get decent traction before looking at investors. Additionally after a several investment/dilution rounds investors start questioning the founders motivation?
