- I made this video at the wrong time, at the time I had literally been playing the game for a week, now I've been playing for a while and I know some really useful tips, now I'm going to make an improved version, where it will actually be a useful guide!

(The facts/fun facts you need to know). Fun facts 1. Having 2 or more distracters in your team is recomended, just incase one dies,2. Playing with friends can lead to higher survival chances, this is beacause they are trusted!(Healer tip!) 3. Having a cosmo and sprout Duo will save ALOT of dying. Distracter tips)1. Distracting in a box pattern shape with any distracter is very useful, 2. Distract at places with no machines. recomended spot would be broken elevator, 3. if your a goob (distracter goob) and your at 1. Use your ability to save instead!

“If you are a slow toon, you are doomed”
Not quite, you see, there is a trick that any toon with 2 star movement speed can do to get away (even Shrimpo if he has Pink Bow, Speedy Shoes and a pop item). There is this trick called ‘looping’ which is where you run around an island and you cut the corners. You see, Pebble’s hitbox is so large that when he hits the corners, he pauses to rearrange himself. This is actually enough of a pause to allow 2 star movement toons to get away if all you do is hug a long enough object and cut the corners. You will eventually break off AS LONG AS no other twisteds spots you because then this strategy is flawed
If you don’t know, this looping trick is also used for distractors when distracting Pebble. It is the easiest to do and if you are really good at it, you can distract Pebble with just 4 star movement. This is possible. You just need to be very careful about stamina but if you’re distracting Pebble without proper training, I suggest an Astro or a Tisha to be present as they can help you learn while also keeping you alive

Also, if you put on Pink Bow on 3 star moving toons, you can slightly outrun Pebble but you can’t in panic mode

Tips:
Mains have higher attention spans, so it's best to try and get farther away from them and then hide.
Never run in razzle and dazzle's circle, aka, the red vines. You can walk, though!
Never open a capsule without the lines of tapes on it, thats twisted Rodger.
Dandy is alerted to machines that have recently been completed.
Twisted Connie will hide in machines, if there is a red light on a completed machine and it flashes blue, Connie is in there.
Explaining main twisteds:
Shelly: when she's on the floor, she gives everyone confusion 1, making you do machines slower
Astro: When chasing you, gives you Tired 3, making your stamina regenerate slower
Vee: when chasing you, gives you slowness 2, making you slower, she will also distract you with useless pop-up ads.
Sprout: spawns tentacles that do damage upon touching them.
Pebble: very fast, very good eyesight
Dandy: kills you instantly upon coming in contact with him.
Cool facts:
Poppy's ability is sorta the same as Looey's, but Looey's lasts until you die.
Connie is the only toon to have hair.
Twisted Vee's scrapped/old design used to be her in a vent with a bunch of wires attached, maybe there used to be vents she could hide in.
Sprout's trinket and Cosmo's trinket are matching, they also are the only two toons with matching skins, they are besties.
Goob's old design was confirmed to be a gun mech. His hands would be machine guns instead of nubs.

As a Tisha main who uses the trinkets dog plush and wrench, this made me reconsider my trinket uses, especially if i wanted to survive longer. And now i have multiple mains that i want to get such as sprout and astro!! It used to be just pebble. Even though im not good at distracting..

I mean.. Dog plush is pretty good for running away from twisteds when you don't want to waste stamina or when you want to distract so you should probably keep dog plush (it's ok if u don't want to)

6:51 I feel like goob’s low stealth is good as it makes it so that when he distracts, he dosent have to worry too much about other toons getting the twisteds attracted to them.

Dog Plush isn't mid it's essential for distractors since to distract you want high walk speed to keep length from twisteds while preserving and regenerating stamina

@@Moupo.Honestly, i think dog plush is also really good for survival since you can walk for a while before twisted can chase up to you, making it survivable even when your stam run out

4:59 not mid, almost every distractor build has dog plush, so you dont need to run as much and just outwalk them. some builds include dog plush and speedy shoes, speedy shoes gives 5% walk and run speed therefore making your walking speed with the dog plush 15% faster. very big boost and useful for distraction, another build is dog plush and pink bow, it is reccomended for newer distractors who need to run a little to not let them hit you

Erm:
1: There's bound to be a dangerous twisted somewhere that you'd want to get away from as far as possible (mostly mains n' ranged)
2: Twisteds gain speed during panic mode (there wouldn't be an upgrade to lower their speed if they didn't gain any in the first place; the speed they gain is MUCH MORE obvious when you're distracting [specifically as Goob, Flutter, or Tisha and _especially_ as a makeshift distractor])
I understand, still, it's not good for most Toons, I think it would be better for slow Toons, other than that, this is unnecessary.

I thought it was garbage when I first got it too, but 4 seconds is a lot better than you’d think.
That’s close to almost every Twisted’s attention span, which means it can save your life if you have an island to loop around, giving you a significant speed boost. It’s good because obviously nobody is gonna pick up the useless gumballs, so you can save them for when you’re in need of a speed boost, while being chased.
Why I say Gigi specifically is a wonderful character for this, is because weirdly enough, it seems that it gives that same boost when you use her Ability.
Pebble is also ok for solo, not ideal but with extraction trinkets it can be alright. I’ve seen people get far as solo pebble, personally though I’m way too impatient to play as him solo lol😭
I really really don’t mean this as an insult or constructive criticism, this is purely my opinion😭♥️

I recommend poppys's trinket for a slow toon (2 or 1 star speed) like run speed is the one that saves you

Shrimpo has a longer attention span
Flutter, Toodles and Gigi all have noticeably faster speeds, I think Brightney and Teagan are also faster but not enough to be a threat compared to normal speed twisteds
I'm pretty sure Pebble outruns every single toon with under 4 star movement speed (without run speed trinkets like pink bow)
Their FOV is actually a cone *and* a small circle around them, so you can be noticed if you go behind them, with Brightney's notice-you-circle highlighted by where her red glow reaches
Sprout is an unintentional anti-hack, being able to summon his tendrils in the AIR and in the elevator 😭
All twisteds go to 'nodes', or little points around the map where they idle for a few seconds, with some having longer idle times and some having shorter to no idle time (Tisha and I think passive Glisten stay longer, while Flutter and enraged Glisten don't idle and go right to the next node) (TISHA HURRY UP)

6:16 i usually play as cosmo or sprout and i can distract, extract, and heal as sprout i lov him sm but i dont use him on solo runs
Pebble is great for solos if you have extracting trinkets, one i see a lot is Magnifying Glass (Rodger’s trinket) and Participation Award (Shelly’s trinket). I have tested it out and you would complete machines 3 seconds slower than a 5 star extractor like Vee or Glisten. I believe it takes 20-23 seconds with no trinkets as a five star extractor, correct me if I am wrong.

Goob's low stealth is actually perfect since the twisted will follow the toon with the less Stealth ,for example ,if a twisted follow a goob and a astro is on the way ,the twisted will still follow the goob since astro has 5 stars stealth ,but if the twisted run to an other toon ,dont go to follow the twisted ,it will go bac to you in not even a second if you don't do anything but if you do something it will hit you :)

I totally agree with Tisha being good for beginners. Tisha is a good toon, since she can distract and support. However, there are a lot of other toons that are better than Tisha, such as Pebble and Goob being better at distracting, and Sprout and Cosmo being better supporters. However, these toons are basically impossible to get early on, and Tisha is really cheap and easy to get while still having good stats.
Twisteds actually have a more oval LoS. Some of it being behind them, and it varies by the amount a stealth a toon has. It’s not a cone but more of an oval, and some of that oval goes behind them!
In fact, it may be correct, but they have a circle around them, and a cone in front, this is their field of vision, but who knows? The creators have not confirmed their FOV yet :(
@ yeah, it’s probably a mix of a cone and a oval sort of thing, probably not exactly what it is, but as long as players have a general shape to go by to understand it and avoid it, it’s most likely fine
Thats why i LUV GLISTEN'S TRINKET, normally it helps me distract more on panic mode anyways and helps me ACTUALLY escape glisten.
@@MyieshaAmbey Unlike the alarm, this stays on throughout Panic Mode, so I consider it better than the alarm.
Tip if there’s a Finn in your lobby make them babysit glisten because when the final machine is completed his passive kicks in giving you easy escape from a Finn main so trust me:)
Since this was before the Connie update here is another tip!: If the machine light flashes blue do not touch it she'll attack you (worse when your at 1 heart) and for the full machines if the light is red (it'll still flash blue) do not touch it wait till she stops haunting the machine and the light will turn green

The fact Rodger ain’t here is criminal.
Fact: Trying to hide with a machine is NOT recommended. Because it's like invisible to twisteds so they can still see you.

Why low stealth distractors are good
It's due to the other players being invisible to the twisteds while you're distracting and a player is next to your distracting spot i do recommend you to use goob pebbles, tishas, flutters and sprouts stealth MIGHT be a problem you need an airhorn or bark if you're pebbles

Am gonna give out some tips for all main twisteds for those who don't know some debuffs they give you, But only for those if there is anything that most starters don't know.
1. Twisted Astro
Whenever you're chased by him, he will give Tired Debuff Level 3, basically this debuff reduces your speed and stamina regeneration, and if the machine had a failed skill check while he is coming, he will not decrease half of the main ichor in the machine, he will decrease the ichor amount by half of the machine, just be careful for your skill checks.
2. Twisted Vee
I could say, Vee could be very annoying to distract nowadays, because of her debuff, giving you Slowness Level 2, and a single add, if you wanna distract her easily, just go far and do not waste much of your stamina, if you're being chased by her but you're not a distracter, do the same I just mentioned, her adds can be very annoying, especially when you're doing a machine, she will summon 3 adds every 45 seconds on the floor, just press the red X above the right corner, just be careful with your skill checks as she can investigate a failed skill check anywhere.
3. Twisted Sprout
The latest main twisted ever released, he has the ability to summon deadly ichor tenticles on the floor when he spots you, this makes him pretty annoying to distract in tight spaces, and distracting in circles, they can also do damage to you when you step on one, what makes more annoying to distract is he is pretty slow, so you have to wait for a bit until he's near you, just make sure not too near you.
4. Twisted Shelly
She can be easily detected because of the debuff Confusion Level 2 can appear when she spawns, Confusion debuff can decrease your extraction speed, basically how fast you can complete the machine, also one of a kind stat. Now much to talk about her, but i'll talk about the lore, looking at her twisted description, you might notice it said "The blatant ignorance of her has enraged her." Also in the gift shop map, her own shelf of plushies was never bought by anyone, this is because she likes to talk about dinosaurs, and plants during the dinosaur era, everyone and toons' thought of it being boring, so they decided to not listen.
5. Twisted Pebble
He could be one of the most annoying twisteds to distract because of his speed and eyesight, to make it a little easier, just find a big island or wraparound that's like really big and distract there, I encourage to not distract Twisted Pebble with Twisted Vee as she can give you the debuff Slowness Level 2 and you can easily die, for the rest of mains except Twisted Vee, you can distract with, the easiest one is Twisted Astro as his ability of reducing speed isn't a lot, but poor stamina regeneration is the downfall.
Bonus. Twisted Dandy
If you see someone say "Dandy run" then that means you have to summon him, after a odd floor, you will see Dandy's shop, but if you do not buy from him after the 2 floors, his face will change, and when you buy from him while his face changed, he will go back to his first face and you have to restart the whole process, if the amount of his items never being bought enough times, he can spawn, he has an ability to investigate any machine even when its complete, secondly, he can instantly kill any toon at 1, 2, or 3 hearts, but luckily he's slow when chasing you, finally, he has a large attention span and eyesight, just be careful.

I just gotta ask, is the trinket section a joke?
1. Astro's cap is actually useless unless you constantly run to machs (don't excessively run in the first place)
2. Thermos doesn't provide much faster regen AT ALL (it's literal SECONDS in terms of a difference to regen, which isn't worth a trinket slot)
3. Dog plush is... mid...? No, god no... it's so good even if your movement speed is only 3 stars since you can walk faster and not waste as much stam trying to go to places
4. Alarm is kinda good honestly, especially if it's Glis/Pebble/you're on a far away mach with a slow speed and didn't remember to prime (but it's easily outclassed by vanity mirror)
Also you're gonna be expected to distract with 4/5 of the high speed toons, so I wouldn't say they're recommended cus the moment them slackers join my run cus "high speed = good even if I don't contribute much to the team at all" I'm DONE (gonna ruin their experience too getting shit on by better players)
I'm talking about survival, not distraction or stuff like that, Astro's cap is really good on solo, thermos is the same but it's always, Dog plush is unnecessary for those who are not distractors, Alarm I'll be honest, it was my mistake.
Please know that I'm new to the game, but I'll do more research soon, and then I'll make better videos.
In short, I would say yes, because I'm new and it's pretty dumb to make a guide like a player like me who just joined the game in 1 week and is trying to teach pros 💀
Alarm isn’t good why gil and pebble need it? Gilsten have trinkets for himself and pebble he just need dog plush , is good for toons have low speed like scrap , vee, etc.

I mean it's good IF their twisted version is on the floor (especially if you're a toon with low speed and wandered too far and nobody said GTE/primed)
@@Moupo. Astro's cap is good IF you're inexperienced and excessively run to machs
Thermos actually is incredibly useless because the regen is like 2-3 seconds faster with the lowest stam toon and about 7-8 seconds with the highest stam toon (which is nothing)
Dog plush can be helpful since you can just walk more and run less (only good with 3 stars tho)
I just think that this info might mislead new players into thinking good trinkets aren't good and make them use really bad strats with stam that will get them killed
Also it would be good to cover what trinkets to use for survival with slow toons and average speed toons (most of the time pink bow is used only for them tho) instead of just saying what toons are good for speed
@@BisexualTruckI think it was just my mistake, I tested all the Trinkets as Rodger, so I think that might have been the problem, sorry about that...
Fun fact: If u see a cover make sure it is usable for 3 seconds cuz twisteds can still run towards u still if ur in a cover until 3 seconds (kinda acts like a cooldown

I recommend yall to do trio runs! I recommend a healer, a distractor and a extractor! Also 5 ppl or 4 ppl runs a good.

I use pebbe during solo runs and it doesn't take that long if you put mag on I make it to floor 20 after only an hour and a half
I managed to get to the 16th floor in half an hour as Glisten
0:07 subtitles: that spin was cleaner than a vee user
I've survived a twisted pebble before...and it was the floor before my first blackout pebble didn't do any damage but the next floor i was doomed by twisted boxtin(i can't spell thier name right)and i died the floor after the blackout(just to note i was a starter at that time)
pebble has 4 star extraction if you use magnifying glass and hit all golds so he’s pretty good for solos!

Dog plush is hslpful for toons with 3 walk speed if you wanna use them to distract
All the Trinkets I mentioned were tested by me, and I used Rodger for that, so I guess it just wasn't a good idea :(
As a supporter, extractor or even survivist, dog plush can place in comparison to speedy shoes. But if you’re distracting, you would want to walk instead of run so you dont waste precious stamina which will be used for running when the elevator is open. So having increased walk speed is very useful for pebble,goob, flutter, and some Tisha and sprout mains. 5:06
After some consideration… alarm MIGHT be useful for distractors during panic mode but…… also considering that YOU BASICALLY RUN AS FAST WAN YOU USE EJECT BUTTON BUT FOR LIKE & SECONDS LONGER… there is also a risk of leaving the twisteds you were distracting to chase someone else…. DONT JUDGE ME ON THIS PART THOUGH! I have NEVER used alarm 5:26

Actually, it's not, it just depends on your Stealth, if you pass behind a Twisted and have 1 Stealth star, he will see you even with his back to you, if you have a 5-star Stealth, it will be much harder for Twisted to see you from behind it, in fact, if you research, it is more plausible that their vision is cone-like, not Eclipse-shaped.

Exactly, Goob is not good at solo, his skill is for support, his extraction is slow, this makes him mid, but if it's with more players, it's incredibly useful
