Here is a better tip. I'm in Mass as well and have a 2019 Goldwing. Get some 3m double sided locking tape, open up your fuel door cover and mount the transponder underneath on the back side of the fuel door. This way its always there and locked away. The transponder still works everytime. Then you can forget about the transponder completely. There are other RUclips video's on it if you search. This Goldwing is the best bike I've ever owned!
If you register your bike on your ez pass account ,you can get away with most tolls of having to show the tag ,sone places have a lifting bar and you will need to show it , also i put mine in my center glove box with the velcro strips on the undersidevof the door with the ez pass and when i meed to show it i just pop the door open and go then close it again.. thanks for your tip.👍

I keep mine suction cupped /velcroed and to the underside if the cubby door. I test it periodically by hind the teller lanes.
