- Today we got an update for all Nixxes PC Ports to support AMD FSR 3.1. So games such as Ghost of Tsushima, Marvel's Spider-Man Remastered, Marvel's Spider-Man Miles Morales, Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart and Horizon Forbidden West now has AMD FSR 3.1 Natively. Let's check out Marvel's Spider-Man Remastered on Steam Deck SteamOS.

Nice! Hey, RPCS3 got a MAJOR cpu update for lower end 4cores like the deck's. Can you test some ps3 games? Preferably some we knew worked badly before?

I’m guessing they didn’t name it AMD FSR 3.1 in the graphics settings because of the upgradable DLLs. It’s just like DLSS now, naming and upgradability wise.

Best option I've used so far was upscaling off with FSR 3 AA and frame generation off. Game looks amazing. You can turn frame generation on for a solid & smooth 60 fps but the button delay from frame generation pisses me off. But thats just me.
I disabled frame limit and input latency isn't noticeable. Make sure not to limit frame rate when turning on frame gen.
Had to do the same because with the frame generation on, it struggled to get 30fps when I did get solid 45fps, but will test some more.
Thanks for the great video man. Are you able to make an update video on how to mod skyrim on the steam deck, I watched your older videos on modding skyrim but non of them worked. Everthing works fine, but when I launch the game through vortex or even the non steam game the game would crash or the game has no audio. If you can make an update about it that would be great! Keep up the good work👍

@@GrownUpGamingGUG thank you the audio isn’t an issue for me because on the vanilla game the audio is fine, but when I try to mod it on the deck the vortex launcher doesn’t open it or when it dose I get this issue. I even added the launcher and the exe as a non steam game and it still didn’t work for me.

Like i said i think game companys fdont care and just qant it out so they can say look we have it and get more sales and the mod shows more care as they are not rushed but if they want support they need to have a good version of it only time i have ghosting with mod is with apider bot havent seen that with the natvie yet but hopefully the mod gets more games supported also fun fact any game that doesnt have fram gen for mod you can still use nvida upscaler mode

Hello grownup havnt turned on my steam deck in about 6-8 month… has an easier or betr way of loading wemod come out yet… i have been hesitant to buy a windows handheld just for using wemod on games

The FSR3 framegen is completely bugged for me on a GTX 1070 and latest driver.
On the rooftop it spawns me on, it tanks my FPS to *9* - that’s not a typo.
Even during game startup, 9 FPS and the frame time graph jumps so much it’s a solid white block.
HOWEVER, with the DLSS FG to FSR3 FG mod, all is fine, except for the slight visual glitch with DoF during takedowns.

@@GrownUpGamingGUG so the implementation is semi-faulty and it’s not just on my end? Figured As mich because FSR3 FG itself works on that system and game

I think the FSR 3 mods do a better job than the official FSR 3.1 🤣
For some reason when I use frame generation on any game, the frame time is all over the place and I’m not getting the same performance as you are, it’s pretty much the same fps without frame generation but way sluggish

@@GrownUpGamingGUG yeah lol, I found a solution tho, disabling V-sync in game, disabling the steamdeck’s frame limiter and setting the game to exclusive full screen makes it finally work lol (this works on every game with frame gen)
@@divinium33 yes you should disable vsync and disable frame limit when using frame generation.
Anyone getting major texture glitches now after update? My textures like disappear or turn rainbow.
Any specific area? I haven't played a lot for this with the new update.
hello friend. the Trainer does not work on the Steam deck in the game Dying Light 2, It works on PC. Would you know why? All my other games work but not on Steam Deck
Are you using cheatdeck with other mods? Cheatdeck will insert its own launch options and maybe that messed things up?

Sorry for spam in a wrong subject video, but I've following your video to use cheat engine on my steam apps, but do you know a way to use in non steam apps? When I follow your instructions, cheat engine can't locate the process with these apps.
What do you mean can't locate? Is it because it's inside a hidden folder? Maybe just move it to somewhere easy to locate like the home directory or download directory.
Which version is this Mate Fit or Emp?
Doesn't matter as long as the game version is v3.618.0.0 because this is the version that supports FSR 3.1.

I don't think this mod works for sekiro. The mod doesn't overclock so just expect the temperature to be when maxed as I've got my settings maxed.

Yes you can turn off upscaling and use fsr 3 native aa or xess native aa.
Maybe fsr 1 from deck and fg?
I prefer FSR 3 frame generation + FSR 3 Native AA/XeSS Native AA.
@@GrownUpGamingGUGIMO XeSS native isn’t needed with the new Ultra Quality Plus option (which gives me the exact performance of native + TAA on PC)

How did you get to keep using the mod because for me i cant use it and im only able to use amd fsr 3
Mod works fine but dlss fg and fsr fg feels the same so it's not necessary. I think the best combo is fsr 3 FG + fsr 3 native aa or xess native aa.
@GrownUpGamingGUG I'm just curious to why the mod stop working for me after the update I feel like there is a difference with mod and the fsr 3 it's mainly in cutscens for me
Copy nvngx_dlss.dll and overwrite it as _nvngx.dll
@GrownUpGamingGUG dude it works thank you so much I thought I had changed it but when it updated it put that file back in so it messed my whole thing up I had to delete my root flies and then take that flie and rename it thank you so much 🙏
