That last triangle haunts my dreams
Whenever the trick starts in a wrist mount, I know it's about to get serious
key to this trick is a good magic drop creates an easy pop to make the tru triangle. i had trouble with the magic drop to the pop on front string and letting go off index. i was getting a nasty kink knot in the thru triable. after lots of trial and error, i realized my mistake was while doing the the magic drop motion I wasn't keeping the "wrap" string behind the thumb/wrist which made the pop harder to execute and caused knots in the thru triangle. with more deliberate attention to keep that wrap string constantly behind my thumb (even during the magic drop) then all the other parts easily come together.

If you are having difficulty with Magic Drop there are two tips I would put into our video if we were to film it again. Keep the string taught while you are attempting the drop by moving your opposite hand away from your yoyo hand, and second, keep the yoyo very close to your yoyo hand while it passes over your yoyo hand.
Sidney LeVine When I first learned magic drop I was super lucky cause I landed it first try, but after that it either rejects and lands on front string or both strings or just not reject.
you can use your NTH thumb to separate the strings a bit more, that's what I did when I was having problems with magic drop.

Damn the last part is freaking hard, I've been practicing for a few days and still I can't even toss the yoyo through the triangle…
Its kinda complicated, however got it! Btw, which meterial do you prefer? 6061 or 7075?
Personally, the material makes no difference to me.
The thing I like about YoTricks is y'all work the yoyo, rather than the string.

The key is to make sure you are opening the gap up enough that the yoyo has enough space to get through without hitting your hand. We give some tips in the video to accomplish this.
Longer string might help... but only if your string is particularly short. With good technique this trick can be done with super wide yoyos on a short string.

hey, so a few months ago I ordered a 2015 world's replay pro from Amazon and when I received it, found the caps jutting out a bit....
I asked you (Adam) if it was a problem and you replied it was common and not an issue......I just found a crack on the bolt-less side's cap ......to be clear. I've never dropped it or ever tightened it more than the aligned arrows, so I'm forced to think it's not my fault. do you have any idea what I should or could do? I've left the yo-yo open to prevent extra build of stress on the cap...I really like the yo-yo, mostly because world's 2015 was the most ENTERTAINING for me....please help
I have never heard of a cap on a replay cracking before. I doesn't even seem like the type of plastic that would crack.

How long (per day) does each one of you guys there at yo tricks practice a day?
All of us are different, but typically 1-2 hours or so.
i have a hard time dealing with anything that had pops in it. is there a way i can improve?
Besides practice? Not that I can think of. It may be less stressful if you work on easier tricks with pops in them besides something like Superman, though.
Sorry to bother. I've been stuck on the magic drop portion of the trick for a while. I get it to reject, however I get an extra wrap around my thumb instead of just my finger. Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you.
With such a complicated trick, I would need to see you do the trick to be able to troubleshoot that part.

The bearing we use in the videos is the same as the bearing that comes in the Civility.

That is all just part of the process of mastering difficult tricks like this. If you are having a difficult time with one part of the trick watch the slomo portions of the video and see if you can figure out how we are avoiding making the same mistakes.

Can someone please tell me why my shutter yoyo is coming up when I give it slack. I didn't put any thick lube on it only a little thin lube.
Did this happen before you put on the thin lube?

How long had you been using the yoyo before this happened, also, did the lube change anything?
Only like a week I just got it. The lube seemed to make it worse so I tried to wipe it off and that made it work better. I haven't really had any problems with it today.
Great. It is normal for the yoyo to play a little responsive after lubing it with thin lube. Once it gets worked in it should play fine for quite a while.
you should use the werrd 86400 for some tutorials.. you wont belive how smooth it play ;)

ajay foit There are quite a few reasons this may be happening, too many to try to address here. The best thing I could suggest is to watch the slomo portions of the video to see if there is anything that we are doing that is different than what you are doing in the trick and see if that solves the problem.
Well it seems like after I do the magic drop my wrist mount doesn't have the extra twist in it anymore. I've watched the video a lot and can't figure out why I'm doing all the steps
That is a tough one, all the steps do seem pretty straight forward up until that point. I suppose I would focus on making sure that the yoyo is passing in front of all the strings it is supposed to, and behind all the strings it is supposed to.
