- Rakshit Shetty is a big and renowned name in Kannada cinema and now he is set to enter the pan-Indian market with his upcoming release 777 Charlie. The actor got into a conversation recently with Bollywood Bubble host Akash Bhatnagar where he spoke about working with a four-legged co-star. He also shared his thoughts on the North vs South divide, the trend of pan-Indian films, KGF 2 success, returning to direction and creating his own cinematic universe. I think it is ok. We as Kannadigas are smart enough when someone intentionally puts the language down and when one is unintentional. I mispronounce many north Indian names. It is common and many times unintentional.
kannada is called kannad in Hindi language...that's y..so they are not purposefully mispronouncing it..other example ..my state name is keralam ( in Malayalam) , kerala ( in English) , keral ( in Hindi )
similarly Mahabharata character karnan ( in Malayalam) , Karna ( in english), Karn ( in Hindi)

At @9.43 It's Kannada and not Kannad. This pricks as bad as if someone is talking bad about our nation. It's high time everyone in North India uses "Karnataka and Kannada" and not "Karnatak and Kannad".

@@shashank9841 angrez is a Hindi word for English. Spain is English Espanol is Spanish. These are in respective dictionary and it's actual meaning/translation. Is India Ind in Hindi then? No right? Few things don't have translations. You can't have a translation for a language or a state. There is nothing like that too if you try to find it in the dictionary.

Why your translating Kannada language name to Hindi language ?? I know last “a” is not pronounced in Hindi but still it just a name of a language not a words..
For example girl name arpita can’t be called aprit or Amruta not as Amrut
Same way kerala not as keral , Karnataka not as Karnatak same way for Kannada is language name…
for example king Ashoka ,King Bharata chakravartin, king Chandra Gupta maurya, king Krishnadevaraya etc those name can’t be changed... “Ashoka the great“ it’s a Hindi movie name right….
