I'm in Nicaragua and one of my favorite little things about living in tropical America are the house geckos. I love hearing them chirp at night. The ones we have here don't like to be seen. Sometimes I'll see something moving 20 feet up on the wall. If I just shift my eyes to look at it, the gecko will freeze. Somehow they can sense my gaze. Lizards truly are amazing. The video by PraveenMohan about the worship of lizards in ancient times is extremely fascinating and provides us with insights into a forgotten and forbidden practice. It is amazing to see that in India, for at least 1800 years, a lizard figure has been worshiped in a temple and devotees queue up to touch and worship it. The fact that lizards were worshipped as gods in some cultures may be surprising to some people, but the video provides an explanation for it. The third eye area in lizards, also known as the parietal eye, actually has magical powers and can be used as a navigation aid. It is also interesting to learn that some Indian texts speak of lizard people who lived with humans and assisted them in wars. Overall, the video is very informative and thought-provoking.

In Bengal (known for the worship of divine feminine), sometimes the goddess Chandi is worshipped as a swarna godhika (golden monitor lizard). According to a popular folklore, when the animals of a forest were getting extinct because of a hunter named Kalketu, they all ran to the mother goddess Chandika. She appeared before Kalketu as a golden monitor lizard and tricked him into taking her to his house as a prize of prey. When he tied her in his house and went away, his wife came back to see a beautiful woman (the goddess herself) standing at the door. She blessed the religious Kalketu and his wife and gave them a kingdom of their own to run so that they did not have to hunt anymore. It is said that since then she is worshipped as a golden monitor lizard. One can even find a monitor lizard made of gold in the main alter of the dakshineshwar kali temple of Kolkata.

There's a greek version that's very similar. Orion the hunter brags that he can hunt down all the animals in the world. The goddess Athena overhears this and sends a scorpion to sting him and kill him. He is turned into a constellation and given his own kingdom to rule in heaven. Athena's symbol is the owl in the video. She represents the serpent, too. Her name comes from Afa which means serpent.

As per legend they are said to hve run towards the Himalayas and beyond (Tibet, China) when they were killed en masse by Maharaj Janmajeya (during his Sarpa Yagya) as a revenge for killing his father Parikshit. I'm in Colorado, and the local tribes have many stories about a snake god.
More relavant however is a story an archaelogist I know found in the archives when doing research for the expansion of the Great Sand Dunes monument.
Back in the 50s, a local rancher was driving along a gravel road near me, and saw where it looked like someone dragging a tree back and forth across the road. He got out to investigate, but it was getting dark, and he started feeling creeped out.
He got back into his truck, and as he was pulling off, in his mirror, lit up by his tail lights, he saw what he thought was a snake's head, at least a foot across, at least 6 feet off the ground.
He contacted the authorities, they inquired among the tribes, and they knew of this - they'd traditionally tied up goats near the cave so it would leave them alone.
The US government took this seriously enough that they had a guide from the tribes take them to the cave, which they dynamited, sunk rebar into, and covered in concrete.
Interestingly, this is also near where the first recorded livestock mutilation (a horse) happened. (Its skeleton is now on display at the UFO watchtower right near where both instances happen.)
There's neat history in many places.

In Europe, the lizard is also a symbol of a garden and farm calendar because when the tiny lizards that just came out of the eggs are seen, it is time for a specific planting and tasks in the garden and the farm, just like when the different trees put out the first tiny leaves, time for seeds and planting in different months. So the lizard is portrait in different contexts associated with plants, and if is a sculpture is for you to read it as a calendar.

In India, even today many hold this science to be truthfilled and apply it in day to day life. They are also connected to good and bad omens according to the sound they produce and at what time of day or night. Lizards are quite similar to dragons in appearance and dragon is synonym to serpent. Serpent and lord Shiva are inseparable. There are more on this but i take a break!

Lizards are a sign of good fortune and auspiciousness. if one's home has lizards they never go out of money. they may not be rich but needn't suffer from shortages. we always have lizards in our homes. now i have them in the garden though not inside the home but still enjoy and get their blessings.
They are a sign of lord kubera. On Akshaya tritya which is on april 22&23 this year, its a good sign to spot them. but legend says vaastu bhagwan hides them fron us so it's really difficult to spot. So to all reading my comments pray to vaastu bhagwan to be kind to you all.
thank you fir these contents Praveen anna

You reminded me i always wanted to own a bearded dragon as a kid. I should still get one some day.
When i was in Sri Lanka and India a few months i had three moments where i spotted a chameleon.
Each time they didn't run from me, i approached slowly and observed in awe. One of the times was very interesting.
As i neared him to as close as a meter, our sights were locked and remained so for 20 seconds or more. I was hit by a feeling like when you smoke DMT, but subtly like a low wave rolling over you.
Somehow everything around it's beautiful little eye had a blurry whirling quality, and i felt like it was unimaginably ancient and knowledgable in ways unknown to mankind.
It was truly strange and magical and i felt so calm and happy and it was as if i shared the experience with the chameleon. Really interesting..
Must have been a strong chameleon. Maybe his pineal gland pulsated through his third eye. (WTF) Such a cool bit of info. I never imagined lizards would have this biologically. Amazing!!!!
And it really is the first bit of info to clarify my experience with scientific means...
Another GEM of a video Praveen my dear bro 🌻enjoy the spring and bless you!!!

The stories include the British Royal family. Princess Diana famously said in an interview, that her in-laws "are not human". People generally thought she meant that they were not kind, but others think she meant that they were literally, not human. Some believe that this is why she had to have a fatal accident.

The lizard at 3:50 looks very similar to the lizards depicted in small South American clay statues in the possession of Mr. Klaus Dona. And what we read from the Sumerian history tales is that the Anunnaki were close to being immortal (The Sumerian Kingslists lists hybrid humans - the first one being named "Aluliam" - as kings who had this quality of longevity still very strong in them.)

Not to mention all the lizard-type depictions in high relief found in other anatolian "prehistoric" sites, the ones in Sillustani South America and many others everywhere. However it's really difficult to discuss if the alchemical flaming lizards, such as the one on the Notre-Dame facade, are an heritance/secret cult brought from the fiery lizards and serpents descriptions recorded in ancient Mesopotamia: Ninurta is sometimes called with the naming of "the serpent with a fiery look/glance" and his cousin Dumuzi with the epithet of "the great fiery serpent from Heavens". Is this characteristic due to the brilliant aura enveloping them? To their shapeshifting capabilities or processes? Or something else? Taboo themes here.

PraveenMohan you produce some of the best content on the internetz! You ask some great questions. Historical evidence of the 'reptile overlords' is all around us. There is no reason to think they are no longer here. There are a lot of intelligent life forms on earth and many 'factions' that have been here for a very long time and stay mostly 'out of view'. Many of these have been here on earth as long as humans or longer. It is time to wake up to the fact that we humans have been 'sharing' this planet all along. Much Luvz for all! ❤

Well reptiles are fascinating, they have been on this earth for millions of years before humans came in being. Various cultures across the world have been worshiping deities that look human, or animal or a hybrid of both. Snake gods i.e. Nagas have been worshipped as Gods across Asia, Africa and Americas for thousands of years, many tribes in SEA say their ancestors descended from Nagas. Ancient Egyptians considered cats and specific bugs as deities. Dragons which are today considered a myth but have mentions in legends across China, certain parts of Asia, Europe. The world is a fascinating place, and we still don't know a lot. Who are we, what are we, why are we here, who created us, are there any other life forms outside earth, how big is this universe, we haven't even explored 95% of the oceans , we know more about the moon than our oceans. I think there is a lot to be discovered, the CURIOSITY is what keeps us alive, the URGE to KNOW, otherwise what's the point just EAT, SLEEP, SHIT and REPEAT. What a sad existence indeed.

They are not considered as God,as per Hindu understanding each and every living organisms is divine ,we all are divine. Only these carving s of lizards are touched with respect in that particular temple, in our everday life we have never ever considered lizards as Gods
