A few folks are noting Sovol has some good deals. I've never run any Sovol machines so I cannot give an opinion, Check out other folks reviews before you consider buying. Find the deals here: www.sovol3d.com/collections/sale?sca_ref=4845212.ujcP1pENMx (Affiliate Link)
Note: sovol's only good machines are sv06 range (sv06 and sv06 plus) anything before hand was creality based stuff that's awful, the sv07 was a downgrade, sv06 is a Prusa clone and I love it personally
I picked up a k1 and there are some crazy sales right now in them. I was not sure what to expect but I must say I love it. I am not a creality fan but they did an amazing job. Especially now that the bugs are worked out and can be unlocked. And print quality is actually very good. I know some can be hit or miss
I'm hoping to take advantage of these deals to pull the trigger on my first printer after about a decade of really wanting one. Analysis paralysis combined with a skinny wallet might stop me this time as well though.
Qidi Tech-X 3 was almost $300 off its normal price. Banger of a deal, I was debating between it and the X1 Carbon, and went with the X3 as it was more then 1/2 the price, and it wasnt a walled off software like the Bamboo.
They seem like exceptional deals for what you get. The X-Plus 3 is $589 before coupon and the larger X-Max 3 at $899 before coupon is a heck of a deal even. That 325 x 325 bed it so worth it for the price + the heated chamber and you can add any camera to it by plugging one in. It's a shame that it's being overlooked by so many
I'm waiting for some Voron 0.2 kits to be on a Black Friday sale. I've been wanting to try my hand at assembling a printer from scratch for some time now. All my other printers are bought, but my Ender 3 is heavily heavily modified so that's the exception. Speaking of the K1, I pre-ordered it and paid a lot more for it. The current price, if it comes with the revised hotend and extruder, is an amazing price for what you get. Mine did need a hotend replacement because the wires for the ceramic heater popped off their pads, but Creality shipped me another one (on top of the extruder, camera, one roll of hyper PLA and hotend I got in their 2.99 USD special for their early adopters) with express shipping just two days after we exchanged some emails. My machine was down not even a full week. So props to them. It's been a workhorse for me and the printer I always come back to when I need to get things out fast.
MicroCenter has them for $349 so I picked one up... So far, unlocked with a full version of Moonraker/Fluidd/Mainsail it's been a solid 'extra' printer next to my P1Ps.
I've got my eyes peeled for V0 deals. All the sellers handling them were still doing 11.11 sales when I tried looking, so hopefully some better deals come this week. Check my Social Medias like Twitter & Instagram as I try to post deals frequently there: @MandicReally on both.
I think Sovol has some sales. I've been thinking of getting something bigger than the X1C I have, and the I've heard good things about the bigger Sovol 7. Although it's hard to resist the allure of the Neptune 4 Max when looking at bigger printers. (I did manage to fully resist the lure of the Elegoo Orange Gigawhatsit, but I won't say I wasn't tempted.
I have zero experience with Sovol machines so I didn't want to include anything I had no knowledge on. I've added a comment linking to the deals for folks & noting my lack of experience with them. Thanks
just ordered some isotune free's with that discount code. I'd been looking at them for a while now, but with the discount i pulled the trigger. i work in a very noisy factory so hopefully they'll be enough for me. I currently use the decibullz, which i really enjoy. But i'd like to have music going at same time. Thanks for the info!
Excellent! I'm gonna make another announcement video more about the event very soon. I'll be giving away a printer there so I want to be sure folks hear about it!
I've never used a Sovol machine so I didn't want to recommend products I have no experience with. But I'll add a comment with that disclaimer so folks can find those too.
@@MandicReally good call on not wanting to recommend products you haven’t tested. Also good call with the affiliate link. Hope to contribute a few bucks your way.
Prusa has had black friday sales in the past. Don't see a reason why they wouldn't this year. Alot of american companies are kicking things off earlier because they wanna start moving stuff already.
When I made this video they seemed to be mostly on their 11.11 sale still. I will have to give BTT another look and maybe do a follow up video this week.
The Neptune 4 Pro is seriously underrated for an entry level machine at that price. It can be converted to 100% pure Klipper and at $280 is about the best 'first printer' deal out there in my opinion. You can start with the built in Elegoo features to learn and then upgrade to full Klipper as you progress. Not a lifetime printer, but what a starter kit.
I agree. The Neptune 4 has become my goto starter printer recommendation. You don't HAVE to used the web interface & Klipper features, but they are there for when you grow and are ready for them.
@@olivertrees I don’t have any experience with either the Kobra or Sovol. I have a Kobra in the box but no time to test it right now. As for the Sovol, they’ve never sent me any machines so I cannot speak to them at all.
@@olivertrees The SV06 was a much easier setup for me than the Neptune 4 Pro, and so far has been more reliable, but much slower. I recently picked up two Neptune 4 Pros and out of the box mine print less than ideal as far as I am concerned. Mostly this is due to the fact that they wont stay level and first layers are trash. Not saying this is a blanket case, but both of mine have been a pain to dial in. My SV06 on the other hand is always on point and I have had very few issues with it running at around 120-160mm/sec usually.
With Black Friday coming up again relatively soon, I was wondering if Qidi typically does Black Friday deals on their new printers? I'm eyeing the Plus 4
They have in the past, but I cannot say for sure. I'd expect a small discount on it but that is a pure guess. I'm waiting on the Plus 4 currently so I don't have any further information yet.
Man that IsoTunes deal.... After seeing this I had to pick up a Link Aware headset, $42 off is a pretty great deal. Should be great for the shooting range and my screaming children lol.
I have no experience with the K1 Max. That said, the added chamber heater and vanilla Klipper firmware on the X-Max 3 are great things to me. Only thing I’d say the K1 Max has over the X-Max is better bed leveling sensor & visibility of the Toolhead while printing. The “forehead” on the x-Max 3 is annoying to monitor prints visually. If you want to print higher temp materials I’d say the X-Max. If you want to print PLA / PETG, I’d probably lean toward the K1 Max.
Everyone I know has been happier with the K1 Max versus the regular K1. I don’t know why as I don’t have one, but I think that’s been pretty universally true.
@MandicReally I was having lots of problems with bambus website I initially wanted the p1p but then I couldn't do installment plans but then I saw the p1s was 599 cheaper than the k1 max so it's like ouch I dont know now I'm wondering if bambu would send me over a p1s so I can choose which one I want side by side but I don't think I would be able to
