Nice way to Visit Cape Breton. It was great to see Dave videoing Sky and her happy, cheerful way. It's great to see an honest view of Cape Breton. A breath of fresh air! :)
You guy's remind me so much of being young and in love, beautiful, I adore you both, the love you obviously have for each other made me feel so reminiscent and happy, you brought so much joy to an old man, much older than my profile pic portrays, thank you
Hi from New Brunswick Great video, wanted to go to Cape Breton so much this fall and do seawall but will have to wait next year. Keep up the great work
Bruce Courtney!! He is one of our Cape North artists. He is a crowd favourite when he sings! So sad I missed you guys at the Markland on my day off. Hope to see you soon!!
I truly enjoyed your video and I am a new subscriber. I am from Cape Breton now residing in Victoria BC. I was raised in Glace Bay my parents now live in Roberta on what I think is a piece of heaven the Bras d'Or Lake. You have excellent knowledge of the area you covered many aspects: food, accommodations, local business, hiking and walking tails and all the magnificent scenery. I cry a little my heart is in Cape Breton. Keep up the wonderful videos of magnificent Cape Breton Island Nova Scotia. The province has so much to see and do it will not disappoint.❤it is love he let you have the first bite❤ I thought it was funny when you said you forgot to get the name of singer, but thanks BUDDY ISN’T EVERYONE NAME IN CAPE BRETON ❤
Lived in Wisconsin for a while. I can verify; that looks like good grilled cheese! Thanks for the great videos, tell your doggies and Dotch Yaga we say "Hi". And always, pettin's from us would be much appreciated! Kathy and Pat
Reminds me so much of Scotland and I noticed some signs in gaelic, looks like the best place to stay, wish I had knew about this place before I moved to Pert Western australia, you guys are awesome
Sand dollars? You have to check out the sandbar at Port Morien (the east side of CB). They are every where and in all sizes. Fantastic video! Thank you for some great trail ideas....and foodie spots too:)
Wow.. you two can pack a lot in to a few days! I asked Jackie if she thought that you ate all the food that you keep showing us as there seems to be so much of it. She just looked at me and said "do you remember what you were like at that age?" Ohhh, ... uh... yes, I do. Point made.... As we watched the video, she kept saying "we passed there!' We had such a good time on our tour of CB. So sorry that Danena's was not open for you -- we had a great dinner there a couple of weeks back! Great video -- loved it!
There will still be some up north on the 19th but it’s different every year. This is a good reference - instagram.com/p/C_1bMBYsuai/?igsh=NmFzdHdkNjVlZ3Zq

Haha we ate soo much and Sky was still buying extra cookies from the Dancing Goat! time to get in shape for Costa Rica 😉
Thank you very much guys for the great video of Nova Scotia! Beautiful colors! On which October dates have you filmed this vlog?
Thank you! The colours usually happen from the 14th to the 25ish depending on the weather
@@daveyandsky Thanks a lot for your answer!:)
If you want to find sand dollars check out Wobamkek Beach. It's really close to Carter's beach on the South Shore of NS.
South Shore seems to be the spot to find them! We found some outside of Shelbourne 😊
The entertainer at the Markland is Bruce Courtney
Thank you! 😀
Did I miss the dates you were there? Thinking of going on October 19 but I think I'll be late for fall colours?

Did you capture some of the videos using a drone? Are drones allowed in Cape Breton? How do we get a permit to fly one?
Depending on what drone you have you may not need a license. But you do need a permit to fly in the park
What dates were you there filming?
mid october
