Bro eminence in shadow wraps this title up perfectly and the way cid hilariously puts enemies in their place and mocks them is top notch A truly masterpiece anime which is extremely underrated.
What I like about the show is that Cid is usually completely clueless what's going on and wrapped up in his own fantasies but the world around him just warps so that they somehow work out. A bit like in Overlord but without the selfawareness and -doubt.

The Arifureta death scene (specifically, Kaoru), was BRUTAL. She tried to heal up herself, push out the sword from her heart. But the obsessed loser stabs it back in. It was heartbreaking and brutal, but extremely good. I love how the anime is unapologetic and brave doing those scenes.
Seras obliterating Zorin Blitz was SO satisfying. And the icing on the cake is the Major allowing Zorin to be disintegrated so painfully by Seras instead of just remotely killing her like the others because she disobeyed her orders.

Personally I've never found any kind of revenge that is an instant kill satisfying. Satisfying is the antagonist truly regretting their actions, which is impossible if they die before being able to even feel that regret or realise they're out of they're depth.
instant kill can sometimes be a bit much other times it's perfectly satisfying. tsukimichi and akame ga kill do that justice. for me it's that moment of realization they fucked with the wrong person just before they lose consciousness (be it dead or out cold) that's the shit like
