One of the things I love about Kakarot is the variety of moves, even if they’re just different Ki blasts you can aim them, use them for defense, tracking, or stun an enemy with a strike. I wish Xenoverse would implement this, Frieza can summon meteors and unleash multi-layered Ki blasts. Even if we couldn’t play with those abilities I’d love to have a boss with a unique moveset like this.

Bardock smiled cause he knew his son was special, even thought the low power level made him feel disappointed, his vision confirmed, he was more special than he could've hoped for and died happy.
You can tell Bardock's voice actor is 25 years older than when he did the special.

I love how they went much further than just copying the movie. Especially the Kassana part takes up 1/3 of the story, not just a mention.
I wonder if Bardock received a vision of his two sons fighting each other and dyeing on planet earth.
Oh hell! I’ve always wondered why didn’t they show that vision of Raditz and Goku fighting and dying at the same time.
Bardock pre doddoria was stated 10,000 power level by Nappa, makes sense that after his zenkai from the other elites and especially from doddoria damage that he would be so strong (listed as 90,000 in this video, but in others at 26,000 so idk) but probably was weaker due to being damaged and tired. Never the less we know he could MOVE suppressed frieza with a punch, which nail at 42,000 couldn’t do. So yeah.
The thing is that Bardock wasn't actually healed after his fight with Dodoria so he couldn't get a zenkai. Logically he should be weaker than 10,000 in his final stand against Frieza.
@@DynastyZwarrior90 saiyans get stronger from damage, mid battle, and recovering after battle. Saiyans can heal quickly as one of their natural abilities, he was knocked unconscious for if I recall 3 days from doddoria? Then got a spirit boost to recover his power and stamina, then here fights doddoria while damaged evenly, then from his fight with frieza could make him move, which nail couldn’t. He would still be the strongest saiyan of the time of the saiyans death, no wonder frieza remembered him specifically.

At the one hour and twelve minute mark, I'm not gonna lie, I was tearing up.🥺 If you're a Dragon Ball/Z fan you know how the story unfolds. That's what made it sad yet joyful in a way. It would also be the last time Bardock would see his infant, low-level, pipsqueak son...who would go on to do incredible, almost limitless things.😭👏🏿👍🏿

Amazed how they managed to reference the Big Green dub when Bardock and Freezer beat each other with their fists in no holds barred, one on one combat.
To me Bardock and his crew are like Biker Pirtates. They live the Rugged life style. They love to rough house. Ravaging a planet to them is like partying all night. Fighting with eachother every now and then is just they're way of rough housing its fun to them.

The fact that Bardock didn't he even consider seeing his kid nor did he want to meet him for the first time and then calling him a pathetic hopeless pipsqueak I'm pretty sure he did the same with raditz but he would be surprised just how stronger Goku got in the near future but even through all that what Bardock said about his son I know he loved goku without a doubt and raditz
Maybe it's just a Saiyan thing, they're space warriors that value strength most of all and weakness means failure. But when he saw a glimpse of Goku/Kakarot's future, he was proud that he will become a stronger Saiyan than him (enough to kill Frieza). At least that's what I understand from this story.

This dlc is so far honestly the closest thing to a vision I've had since i was in middle school. It would be awesome if someone did an actual full-on ambitious video game storyline revolving directly around the saiyans and their life.
The Idea
(Could be some years before frieza destroys them or so) But you could basically make your own character (male, female, etc), and there will also be classes. depending on what class you choose will determine the kinda life your saiyan will live. (and the kind of missions/storyline they can get). as a lowclass (if your power level is extremely low upon birth), you would get sent to some far-off random planet as an infiltration baby. ull live on that planet until you manage to conquer it, then you will be able to go home, as infiltration saiyans are only accepted back into saiyan society after they've conquered their planet. Depending on the planet u are sent to, you may or may not have the moon to your disposal, which will allow you to transform and speed up the conquering process. However, the usage of the full moon will be limited according to the planet's moon phase system. if you're unlucky to land on a planet without one, ull have to rely on ur other saiyan abilities and survive. Conquering the planet will also naturally be much tougher and strenuous without being able to transform. (Hopefully, it's not too much of a strong planet or some other strong aliens don't land on it too as that can and will randomly happen 🤣) if your lowclass saiyan does manage to beat all odds and complete his or her mission they can return to planet vegeta and get accustomed to saiyan society. it may be hard for them at first, as up until that point they have spent their entire lives in solitude and under their own influence. there will also obviously be elite saiyans that will look down on you etc. You may have to prove your worth. But be careful. The word "murder" on planet vegeta does not exist. If you challenge an elite in battle, be prepared for the consequences. (make sure you can win) If you survive the ways of planet vegeta , from here on out your saiyan will strictly be focused on becoming an elite and reaping all the enjoyments of saiyan benifets
As a middle-class/elite baby, you will remain on planet vegeta and learn the harsh ways of saiyan society. You can participate in saiyan tournaments, attend saiyan schools that prep you for missions, and do side quests in the open world of planet vegeta. Later on, as your saiyan grows and if they are worthy, they will be able to get sent out to conquer planets and may even gain crew mates along the way. As well as find a mate and have children. ( This bardock dlc game is quite comparable to what I had in mind for the elite/mid class saiyans life). They will also have the blutz wave technique that all elites learn, giving them advantages of transformation even on planets that lack a moon. During battle, players can use the blutz wave technique at any given moment.
The Elite saiyan life will be reletively alot more easier as they will have much higher power at the start and alot more advantages in their favor. However the infiltration saiyan life may also reap benifets as the planet's they get sent to may allow them to discover new powers, opening their arsenal while also strengthenen their hidden potential in the long run (if they survive). The surviving infiltration saiyans may also have hidden potential even greater than the elite saiyans. They will also most likely be much more savage in fighting styles aswell as appearance. The game would definitely be expected to be open world. Possibly multi-player as well. Players will be able to travel around the planet vegeta as well as travel through space to distant planets. those planets should be open world as well. (again, similar to this dlc). However, for the infiltration babies, the open world wouldn't be available right away, and neither will space travel. Access to planet vegeta and other saiyans would be off limits at the start. They would have to be able to conquer their world by slowly claiming territories. and that won't be easy. There's also always the chance that they can be defeated or killed. if defeated, they have a chance to escape and if they manage to recover, they will, of course, return much stronger (as saiyans do with their zenkia ability). If killed (thinking of giving players the choice to have a respawn point) it may be a perma death scenario and that saiyan will be actually deceased.
That's pretty much all I have got so far, but as you can see, it's a pretty ambitious idea. although this dlc gives me hope that it will happen some day. Feel free to let me know your thoughts

Once upon a time I was playing this game I was so ahead into having every fighter at 100 and the next day I woke up to play. My data got corrupted, and I had to restart all over again and I never touched that game ever since the end.

Man this emotionally wrecked me. Trunks dlc was more depressing and gohans final move and trunks final move was one of the best things in any game. but the space battle here had me tearing up because of how great the hallucinations were placed and the fact I never knew bardock went out knowing his son would become the legendary super saiyan. The smile and the grandpa gohan thing. It made me think about family and how important it is to mentor and love your children and fellow human species because it can all end.
I gotta do prince vegeta story and tournament. Then they better release the entire GT story because super game play while fun is NOT as good anime wise at GT. IMO. I'm about to be 30 so I grew up with the full toonami gt run when I could understand it. The dbz series I bought vhs tapes at dollar general buu saga, watched on foreign channel and then went online when it was all free and watched it

Yeah this dlc is mostly faithful to the bardock special and didn't take the updated canon into consideration. I wished they'd just mix the 2 versions of bardock and it'd be perfect. Like the emotional weight Gine brings to the story is great and she isnt even here.

4k x 200 saiyans = 800k
Which is stronger than frieza in base form
Not to mention if they all went great ape which is a 10 times multiplier they would have easily over powered frieza
So yes that’s how “tf” 200 saiyans could have pushed back the super nova

@@Zacman1123 I think he attempted to make Bardock more like Jor-El from DC but I don't quite understand the utility in that. There are already enough similarities to Goku and superman we don't need more. It was a bit unnecessary.
@@genesys6167 I don't get that either. Toriyama in the past had stated he liked "Father of Goku" as is. So much so that he put scenes from that special in the manga.

I kinda, would prefer the Funimation dub script and score. We got awesome music like superstar by saliva, makes no difference by Sum 41, and American hi-fi a bigger mood. Not to mention the original score for the film was freaking banger.
