Momma s family Bible reminds me of recently we had to clean out my mom's stuff. She has Alzheimer's very bad and had to go to the Nursing Home. That song really hits my heart hard. I had a very good momma growing up. Breaks my heart so bad to see her in the shape she s in. When she passes the peace I'll have is knowing she s with JESUS and my daddy and her poor mind is well. Nobody could sing that better than George Jones. I've always loved the Possum. I sure like his Gospel album. Bless you all ❤ ❤

And then ......watching a TV prog. a few weeks back about George's early life - he had it hard from before he reached his teens. If that TV prog. was accurate about his early life then you can understand why he " sings from his heart and soul."
