Hi Sarah I recently subscribed to your channel and am enjoying your stunning images. I think you were brave to put this last attempt out and felt your discomfort. Brrrr! I also have whippets, only 3 these days and love them just as you do your boy. Probably why I first joined having photography and whippets in common and now am enjoying your hikes out in that stunning landscape. Thanks for sharing.😊
I love Ollie when you shake his treat box, eyes wide open and ears prick up, bless him as think he wanted a treat. That final picture is simply stunning Sarah!
I am from California in 2014 I went to New England for fall foliage ( Massachusetts, Vermont, New Hampshire, Maine ) I got great pictures with my Tamron 28-200 zoom lens. The colors were spectacular I am so glad I got to experience New England fall foliage
The foot on the lens collar is to take the stress off the camera body tripod mount. Less to do with the sturdiness of the tripod. I warped the bottom of my 5D1 b not mounting the 70-200 by the collar.
As unfortunate as it was to see you fall in, it was a riot to hear you laughing along with me from watching this. So great. I've always wanted to go to Abraham Lake. Maybe this year is the year. It was nice to see we pack similarly, minus the dress lol.
Good thumbnail video image and title. Girl in yellow dress wades into pond. What could go wrong?😄Great video; I have the same lens and an older Mk ii camera. Beautiful place to live. Lovely videography and pictures.
Nicely done. I did notice the road closure there when I was up there last month. Too bad, it’s such a perfect spot for it. Last year I took some great capture from that exact location where you set your camera here 😅
I like to call experiences like that a partial success. Sorry the yellow-dress shot didn’t work out, but your last photograph was absolutely gorgeous, with that isolated tree in the middle - great atmosphere and almost theatrical light.
I agree with your friend that you might as well have carried on and got the shot as you couldn’t get any wetter😂. You got some beautiful images anyway even if they were missing the yellow dress.
Haha!!! I agree with you guys. I thought about it after and even though I was wet from head to toe, it still would have made a unique image, but guys... it was so cold!!!! LOL
Had a similar experience lately while attempting to take self portrait on the beach - I was trying to stand on the big rock but slipped and the big wave came at the same moment 😂 Furtunately it was quite warm that day and I managed to take some pictures anyways. I have lots of ugly bruises on my legs to this day though 😂
I believe it was Adam Gibbs who was also filming there in 2021 and his partner took a similar fall. Not polite to laugh at a lady, I guess....but.... :)
Woops 🙃 Hope to get back to this area before the leaves completely die off!
I glad you fell in the lake for keeping the place a secret ...;)>

Amazing locations! 🙏
I just love that final image. Spectacular as always Sarah!
The views are breathtaking!
The colour of that water and Autumn trees looks amazing Sarah!

Yes I know 😁 I didn’t have my plate with me at the time nor the tools to move my L bracket. Sometimes it’s okay to just use what you have in a pinch!
Stunning photos and drone shots, but Ollie steals the show!!!!
Beautiful locations and colours.
Really enjoyed this. Thank you.
Those Canon colors can’t be beat. 🙌🏼
Hi Sarah, just discovered your Chanel so fun! Did you use a filter at the end shot, F16 @ 30 sec?
Great video Sarah! Love watching you fall in the lake 😂😂
Looks like you still got some great shots. I need to get out to Abraham Lake in autumn some time!
Thanks Simon. It's a cool place
So happy to have found your chanel! Too few excellent women photographers on you tube
Er zitten Echt Super mooie natuur Foto, s bij
Looks nice both shots. Have you ever stacked gradient color filters? F22 for 40sec-1min or so with blue, orange and green gradient filters stacked.
Not finding my Zen mode on my dials. Will try again 🤔
This was so fun to watch! I wish you took some near the trees even though you got all wet haha maybe it would've looked nice

"...and then i have this little container" ... look at his ears in the backgound... 😂🥰
He is a legend!!! I am in Iceland and miss him so much!
@@sarahlyndsay 🙂 I'm pretty sure, he misses you, too. But you can expect an exuberant reunion. ... Something to look forward to 😁
Enjoy Iceland! 🙃
So funny.
😂
Прекрасное видео и невероятно красивая природа!

Come to the Appalachians. Those color changes happen every year over thousands of square miles!
Bummer!! But quite funny!
nice =)
Well you gave it a good try. Most people wouldn't be willing to wade out there. Beautiful Fall colors.
0:39 hello 😍😁👍

Love the pictures, I was concerned about the. 70-200mm and the water, knowing that we human are water resistant.
Baileys' got nothing to worry about then! 🤦♂️
nice dog :o}
OMG Is that Ryan's voice in the background?!? HAHAHA

Yikes, Abraham Lake is glacial runoff - so cold. Crazy Lady!
That logo of yours is a bit risqué 🤭
My favorite banana, hope you are doing well Sarah
:-) Could have been worse, the camera could have taken a dive as well!
Perhaps with that yellowing foliage, a red dress would be better.
I'm sure it was cold, but I would have just shot it wet.
