Does Note Mode work the same way while in the Sequencer? Can't seem to find a solid answer... Sequencer has Drum, Scale, and Chromatic... for Sequencer Scale, does it remember the settings of the regular note mode? Octave, semitone transpose, scale type? Thx!
That's right, changing the root note will change the layout of the notes available. The Note Mode settings allow you to switch between Chromatic Mode and Scale Mode, where you can change the currently selected scale and root note, alter Note Mode’s layout with overlap controls, and change Note Mode’s MIDI channel. When working in Scale Modes, Blue pads represent notes in the currently selected scale, while purple pads represent the root of the scale.
Yes. When working in Note Mode, you can use the up/down arrow buttons ▲▼ to increase or decrease the octave, and the left/right arrow buttons ◄ ► to transpose the grid by a semitone up or down.
Hi there, adjustable brightness is not currently a feature for the Launchpad, but we appreciate the feedback. We can't guarantee anything for future products, but we do listen to our users closely. Thank you!
Chord shapes would differ, depending on how Overlay is set. Note layout is explained in detail in the User Guide, from page 23 onwards - fael-downloads-prod.focusrite.com/customer/prod/s3fs-public/downloads/Launchpad%20Pro%20User%20Guide.pdf
When working in Scale Mode, you can choose the root note, selecting a note using a piano keyboard layout that's displayed on the pads. You can then select a Scale to work in. Blue pads represent notes in the currently selected scale, while purple pads represent the root of the scale. Blank pads show that no note exists at their location as pads are outside of playable range. This out of range behaviour also applies to Chromatic Mode.
That can be done from Note Mode settings, accessed by holding Shift and pressing Note or Chord. Note Mode settings allows you to switch between Chromatic Mode and Scale Mode, change the currently selected scale and root note, alter Note Mode’s layout with overlap controls, and change Note Mode’s MIDI channel.
Ok I want one❤

thanks Ricky, very cool 👽
Let us change the color of Note Mode!!!!
💯
Is there an arpeggiator option?
What does changing the root note actually do when playing. Does it arrange the notes differently?..

Can I transpose with octave button?

Why don't you tell me how to go into the settings and reduce the brightness ???
