With mirrors they are adjustable in relation to the motors so if someone pushed the mirror in by hand it will need re centering. I love these little jobs on cars. You get such a sense of accomplishment when you've finished.
Come to think of it, that seems like exactly what happened. I never knew that, thanks 👍 Yeah I love doing these little jobs, sets me up for the bigger and more painful jobs to come 😬
If that happens again with the mirror just re-adjust the glass, it should just move around in the housing. People push them in and you have to re-adjust.
Hi mate a few type r s over the years and always preferred clean stock ones. Seems to be like yourself. But a great cheap upgrade if you haven’t already done it, is the K&N panel filter. Goes straight into the standard air box and takes 5 minutes to fit. The car sounds a little throatier without being stupid. And you will definitely notice the difference in midrange. It’s a great cheap little Non stupid upgrade for the type r. 👍 works great on the Fn2
This is true. I bought mine on 108K and instantly noticed how hot the bay was with the HKS intake. I purchased the stock intake system and put the K&N panel filter on instead. Engine runs cooler and doesn’t sound so stupid when slowly overtaking. My only concern is that my engine sounds a little whistly like a mini super charger. Hoping it is the panel filter and nothing serious.
It's fine that noise mate. Mine does exactly the same with the OEM filter. It's how the air is being sucked in like a Dyson. Lol. Erm, if you want more air in you can use the intake tracts from the front fog scoops. @@sxixlxnx
Yeah man lovely. I need to change my rear badge. Can you give a quick write up of how you measured the gaps with tape for the correct location please ? Thanks man. 👌
Watching these are like meditation for me 😊 had 2 of these and absolutely loved em
Thanks man, really appreciate the kinds comments. I've done more to it since so I'll share that video in the next few weeks.
