xo,
Lo Nicole ♥
Congratulations! I had my procedure done back in September! PRK is the best thing that I have ever done for myself! :)
Totally agree! It’s amazing what a few seconds and a laser can do for your life🥳
Thank u so much for the amazing video. You really motivated me to do mine soon god willing. U are the best ❤
Thank you sm!!
Thanks for the great info! Love your hair❤
Thank you!!
I had PRK with Kremer 4 days ago and hopefully getting bandage out today 🤞 loved your vlog, felt similar with the procedure and had some serious anxiety!! I wish they had given me stress balls to squeeze! Great explanation of the procedure! I freaked out when it went black! 😬
Glad it was helpful! Here’s to you hopefully getting those bandages out today🥳🤞🏽
Almost three months in to my PRK and I'm still struggling. I was worried a bit because after two months I couldn't function at all, but after that two month mark it's all been uphill from there. I can finally drive fine both during the day and night. My experience was weird because my eyesight fluctuated a bunch during the first two months. I still have trouble seeing computer screens and reading, but for the most part, long distance sight is perfect. My doctor said it was due to the fact that my eyes were not healing evenly and that was causing my recoup time to be off. He game me extra drops for my right eye and said it should get better in 30 days.
Thanks for your story, it really helped pre and post op.
I’m glad it was helpful. Congrats on your surgery. I’m wishing you a safe recovery!
Just did 5 days before hoping for best results😶😅 vision is still blury but better than pre operation😅 btw you look adorable with those glasses
Good luck! I’m sure the final results will be great🥳
You look like nicki with the sunglass on but I can't wait til my surgery
Her dominant eye tuned itself up quicker than her left. I'm contemplating eye surgery. I didn't know there was RPK. I never heard of it.

What sort of supplements did you take other than vitamin C?
Did they give you any medicine to take for after care?
What drops will you prescribed or given after postop?
how long did you wear the sleeping goggles for?
Hey! How is your left eye now? Has it cleared? Also what was your prescription before the surgery? Ty!❤️
I answer all these in detail in the six month update! Link is in the description :)
Min 4:30 where did you get those glasses? They look so cool
They’re from America’s Best but I’m not sure of the brand because I don’t have them anymore, sorry!
Update? I have bad starbursts and ghosting still 2 years on.
Can you tell me do you still have dry eyes? i did before 3months PRK and now my vision gets bad because of dry eyes i use eyes drops so many times but does not help .I am thinking again to wear glasses to get better vision.
No, I do not have dry eye anymore
@@LaurenNicole when you stop to have dry eyes how much time past?
I don’t remember the exact time line but by 6 months post-op I didn’t have dry eye too often but I still used eye drops rarely
@@LaurenNicole how long did starburst from night light last?
The development of a central microbial corneal ulcer or haze after a PRK is a potentially serious complication. Two types of haze can occur, first one tends to appear 1-3 months after surgery and then disappear; second is defined as “late-onset corneal haze”, appears after three months and persists for more than three years which is extremely dangerous, which can cause vision regression and loss too. I know a women who did PRK, unfortunately after 20 years a haze occurred in cornea thus vision got loss. Definitely long term everyday complications do have in PRK unlike in LASIK.
Update
If you don’t mind sharing, your prescription values before surgery please.
-4.25 and -4.00
I had PRK done a 11 days ago..prescription was -10.5 in both eyes...best decision I ever made. I was actually upset I waited so many years to do it.
@@luvlife2355 thanks for sharing. I am doing it next week and I have about the same prescription as yours. Anxiety at its peak.
Hope it went well!
Where are you getting yours Priyanka?
